    No because the box is physically to small. But you can make room in the tank. The easy way to do this is by removing the lower half of the airsoft cannon system (motor and gearbox). This frees up a huge amount of internal space because these parts no longer protrude down into the hull and need the space to move up/down and rotate. You will loose the airsoft features, but nothing else.

    Once done you will easily be able to fit a full size 5000mah+ 9.6v NIMH hump pack battery( or something of equal size) in the tank. You will have to make a small hole in the battery box to run the connectors out through for charging, but if you have gotten this far a small hole is easy.

ID:	330096 Removing this section ^^^^^ on the airsoft system will make all the room you need.

    I would caution though is you do this to only use a NIMH battery as these are far safer to leave in the tank while charging or storing.
