    Nice! Whose kit is that? I tried Mato's duckbills on their Sherman, but they broke a lot and caused detracking. Good turret. Nice photography too, looks like it belongs there.

    Somewhere in the South Pacific...this is the newest member of my Black Star Squadron. Actually, it's a Heng Long M4 Sherman decked out with wood anti-magnetic planks bolted on as a field improvisation. The sandbags in front are fortuitous courtesy of a generous colleague.



    (The sprocket hubs aren't on yet, since there is more work to be done on the suspension.)

    This is "Black Star", an M41A3. It's used in wargame exercises on military reservations in the desert southwest. It simulates second tier armor used by adversary nations.
