I ordered the TK-7.1 MFU from Toucan Hobby and received it on August 5, 2024.
I tab all the connectors when installing the CS TK-26. The TK-7.1 MFU is a drop in replacement that takes only minutes to put in place. I bind one of my TK-7.0 transmitter to the TK-7.1 MFU without any trouble. Before I can take the tank outdoor for a test drive, the new TK-7.1 MFU stopped working. This is my first experience with a failed Heng Long motherboard. I spent the next 2 weeks to trouble shoot, reset and did everything I could think of, but to no avail.
I finally contacted Toucan customer service and received a replacement TK-7.1 MFU in 4 days. No waiting for returning the defective TK-7.1 MFU. I give Toucan customer service the A++ grade.
The HL Leopard 2A6 has been running indoor for 3 days. Will test it outdoor later today.
One difference of the TK-7.1 MFU from earlier version is that I must use the transmitter start button to turn off the tank.
