I got an Hooben nylon track for the Heng Long 3958-1 IDF Merkava IV from them once because no other option was available in 2023.
The unboxing is uneventful. The package was delivered in very good condition. The tank works directly out of the box. No hicap whatsoever. I have only one pack of 2S 18650 LiIon. I tested it at 2300 mAh which should give decent run time. The 2S 26650 packs are too big for the Merkava battery compartment. When I first took

You are correct! It was the rep from Twin-horse who worked with me thru all of my Hooben orders. She even gave me a small banner to display her company at our event.

Yeah! I happened to have a good rep who took care of my many orders (including parts replacement) accordingly.

How did you find it?? Hooben Store is NOT currently offering this truck for sale.

You can still find the listing at twin-house.de for €408. No information on inventory. It sounds like an older high end all metal truck design. It lost it appeal because there are so many 1/16 scale military truck on the market for well under USD$100. Not a good candidate for future release.

    Nope, can't do it.

You both know better than to post this.

Use PMs or your personal emails, but not the open forum.

I've written about this, you know any political speak on any topic is off-limits here, whether it is an opinion or fact.

You get one warning and this is that warning.

    Please self-delete your posts.

    Respectfully, LB

DKLM model and parts price are always very good. It is the shipping problem. See Post 427. I wonder what shipping method that Rich Johnson uses when ordering from DKLM.

When I ordered DKLM in the past before the DJT tariff hit, they used Hong Kong Post for shipping. The shipping cost was usually cheaper than USPS domestic shipping. The cost of UPS, DHL are too expensive to be practical.

I was able to ship the Tongde metal gearbox for $12 by DKLM. Last time I asked them, the shipping by DHL is more than the gearbox itself. It is not just the cost, DKLM has some 1/16 scale RC tank parts that is either not available or at much higher cost elsewhere. I miss DKLM.

No, but DKLMRC does ship to Rich Johnson's company (RichJohnsonModels N Stuff). Rich has been acting as a middleman for many of us. If there is something you want from DKLM Rich can get it for you. Of course there is a fee for him doing the ordering & handling the purchase which is fair given Rich takes all the risk on rapidly changing importation challenges.

I have several item Rich ordered for me coming in on his next DKLMRC shipment.
