Can they make the video WITHOUT that awful music?!!! For now, I just turn the sound off hoping that there is no narration or explanation about what they are showing.Originally posted by SoCalBobS View Post

Found this on the Coolbank Model Store.
Never noticed this product before?
With a painting job + decals w/ maybe some slight modifications
To recreate the Volkswagen Kommandeurswagen Typ87
the four wheel drive version of the Volkswagen Beetle
that was produced from 41' to '44.
Like the Steyr1500A; nice addition to any RC German ww2 tank fleet.
cheers!! PZ Loco

About the Coolbank Crusader tank,..
already ''torturing''' myself on what to do with the sandguards.
Does anybody had answers/explanations on why so many crusader (ww2 era pic) had the front sandguards missing?
is there simply out of the factory conception /or field modification (battle damaged)
cheers!! PZ Loco

if said w/ negative connotation;Originally posted by SoCalBobS View Post
It's easier to call someone a name and dismiss him, than it is to address the specific point.
If said w/ positive connotation;
effectively minutia of details help me improve my RC models as a whole piece of history in 1:16 scale
either way ,.. thank you
you improve my vocabulary
Since i am Canadian french speaking dude
i didn't know the meaning/expression ''rivet Counters''.
cheers PZ Loco

The mudguards were removed on Churchills’ as they could prevent the turret from turning, if they were damaged. I am unable to answer why they are missing from the Crusader.Originally posted by SoCalBobS View Post

Tamiya has made an interesting release, which while isn't full option or even four channel such that the turret and gun can be operated, does represent a significant rethink (some may say regression) to a single motor setup as with their 1980s/90s tanks:
Shipping dates and prices will be announced as soon as they are decided. Length: 376 mm. Image shows assembled and painted kit. The Sherman tank was a staple of the Allied effort in WWII, with a total of about 50,000 vehicles produced, among which were a host of different variants such as the M4 Sherman […]
But to be fair, it is prototypical that most tanks have only one power source and require a gearbox and brakes to divert power between the two tracks. Let's see where this goes.
