You and me both. Probably still be some remnants of snow into mid April as our field is located in a snow belt. Great job of promoting/reviving the RC tank hobby David

For our event next Saturday, design for the battlefield has already been laid out by our team's architect/engineer "Bob" :-)

I'll keep saying it David. It is just so great to see your hard work come together and so many people getting together In Person, enjoying, sharing, communicating, cooperating and having fun!

It is an amazing thing to think this has evolved from your love of these RC tanks during the whole Covid situation when ironically we were all locked down and forced into anti-social existence.

I kept the San Diego rc tank battles going during the whole pandemic. For many people, it was the only outlet during the Covid debacle.
since the park had closed down I moved to a vacant lot and continued to hold battles with social distancing.
I had some of the highest attendance for our group during that period as people that wanted to get out and do things had an outlet to do it.

I think you meant "were not afraid" to get out. Those were some of the best battle days held in SoCal in years.
