  • I have my servo modification completed on my A2 turret so that the servo can be unscrewed and replaced from the bottom of the turret for ease of maintenance. I did not really get any further on my build because a customers m60a3 showed up on the bench for me to build and paint with and MERDEC cammo job.

I will try to take some photos tonight of the A2 servo mount mod.

    • Here is the modified servo mount for the recoil in DKLM M60A2 turret.

The original design required the servo to be screwed in from the top which doesn't allow the servo to be replaced without completely tearing the tear it apart. So I glued tabs on top of where the servo goes and then drilled from the bottom up through the servo tabs that were molded onto the recoil unit and inserted a screw all the way through both tabs and the servo so the servo now holds in place with those screws. All I have to do to remove the servo is unscrew the screws and the servo will just slide right out
