Anyone has information on how the road wheels are attached to this metal chassis. From the picture, the suspension arm does not have the road wheel axles.

Thank you for the link and the information. In the early 2000's, I used to order all my 1/16 scale metal tank parts from Germany when the shops there were the only sources. But the shipping from Europe is expensive and long. With your information, I may be able to search for the road wheel set on ebay or aliexpress.

For some curious reason, MotionRC and TaigenTank carry only the Torro road wheel set for the Heng Long Chassis, but not the one for the Torro chassis even though they sell the Torro metal chassis too. Very strange.

Notice the circular ring for the HL arm using coil spring and the D-ring for the Torro arm using torsion bar.

I have tried the Torro metal road wheel set for the HL Leopard 2A6 (on the HL Leo2A6) with disastrous results. I ended up returning the set to MotionRC.

The search for Torro compatible metal road wheel parts on ebay and aliexpress failed. However, that does not mean that these parts are not available, just how to locate them. The ebay and aliexpress search engine are both very poor.

Taigen will sell you their complete lower chassis with their drive chain components. But not the gearbox, drive motor, track, sprocket, idler and road wheel separately like the RCtank Shop in Germany. I have different favorite components such Heng Xin gearbox, 390 motor, Tamiya hybrid track, Mato sprocket and idler. I just want the Torro torsion bar lower chassis and road wheels to go with my other components and the Heng Long turrent and upper chassis. I will go back to search harder at AliExpress. If not successful, The RCtank Shop in Germany is an option with good price.

According to Taigen, this chassis is offered in 3 different configurations, please read the descriptions below (see link above) to find the one best suited for you. All 3 configurations come painted to match the stock Heng Long Leopard paint scheme.

The price at RCTank.de seems to be very competitive to east Asian sellers and the shipping cost is much cheaper. I have 3 items in the cart, but did not complete the order yet. The order process is not smart enough to deduct the VAT (about 20%) for customer with an non-EU address. I have written Dominique for help.

I have the same problem and invest in a special purpose piler:

The non-slip jaws of this piler allows you to grip onto the hubcap better. Just pull harder and it will come out.

Tight press fit is the common approach for toy manufacturer to keep their product from falling apart. They do not make it for easy upgrade.

I'v got a pair of pliers like them so tried to pull off the hubcaps stuck solid had a go at knocking them from the inside the hudcap snaped off the wheels must be one piece.

I am sorry. I have misled you with my experience with the Heng Long plastic chassis and HL metal road wheels. I am still waiting for the delivery of the Torro parts.

That's ok all my other tanks are all heng long pro so i thought the torro/taigen wheels would be the same

Just had a test fit of the top deck to the hull if you have the top deck with the 2 rear hatches that open there is no post's to fix the little metal pieces for the release mechanism also the back end is not a good fit both are a easy fix

I made the purchase of this Taigen/Torro metal lower chassis based on the description of the item at Taigen tank:

Any suggestion? Does the Taigen/Torro chassis provide matching attachment holes for the Heng Long?
