Dahawk were you able to book a room at either of those Hampton Inns?

Regarding the block of rooms.
You have until JUNE 3rdto reserve a room at the event rate. I run two events and confused the cutoff date. So you still have plenty of time to book your room.

We have lunch on site, most guys eat breakfest at the hotel. We typically fly until dark and then head into town to one of the local eateries.
For those staying on site I'd be more than happy to make a dougnut run each morning.
Sounds like a plan!
Thanks,
Sean

Plenty of room for Bungee launching and retrival. It will be great to see a JePe F16 flying!

I have a Jepe F16 and an aeronaut Rafale that I have typically launched via bungee. Is there an area for bungee launching?? I am looking to fab a dolly for runway takeoff, but if I cant get one done I would need to bungee

Outstanding! Another question for planning purposes: will you have any food vendors on site? I hate to leave the field for lunch/dinner so would like to know if I need to bring food out.
Thanks again,
Sean

No shame in runway takeoffs and belly landings... I'll tell you that! ;)Originally posted by petefoss View Post
One thing I would say about the grass is it's very thick. I wouldn't even think about landing out there with the gear down. Definitely a belly landing zone.

I was there on Thursday but had to turn around and head home. I too was disappointed with the number of jets. Our field is 800' x 50' smooth asphalt, with beautiful cut grass on each end.
Plus the grass on the far side of the hard surface is is 1200' x 110' wide grass runway so you will have absolutely zero issues. You will not be disappointed!
