Can't wait! I'll know soon what's going down. I'll be splitting my time with NEFI in Muncie as well.

Here's a photo from Google Earth to whet your appetite for the event!1 Photo

If I can fit a 1700mm wingspan twin 80mm A-10, 1600mm wingspan Spitfire, and an 80mm Avanti in the trunk and backseat of a Toyota Camry with room to spare for another plane, batteries, and a passenger, I'm sure a Ford Escape can fit plenty enough to make the road trip worth it! Robert puts on quite an event.

Chief many attendees setup their own pop-up. We have plenty of room that allows you to backup toyour space as there are over 42 parking spaces along the flightline. We have an RV/camping area at the east end of the field if you want to stay on-site.
Appreciate the info!
Hmm, I wonder how much gear I can squeeze in & on a Ford Escape for the road trip...?

What is the current policy concerning parking in the grass and using small pop-up shelters near the flight line during the event?
Might impact potential vehicle load-planning!!
My interest in attending is DEFINITELY growing... : )

Kloverzero I would be great to have you join us. I love flying at Nall, but the 800 x 50' paved runway with clear airspace in any direction sure is nice!

Jet Jam is for sure on my radar, but it is quite a haul from Myrtle Beach. I will have to see what the coffers look like after Joe Nall. And if I can get a day off of work to recuperate from the drive!!! Jets are my thing though, and I can hear them calling out to me!!

I'll never forget pulling in the first day, wiping off the drool, and thinking... What the hell's everyone waiting for? Let's tear it up! Hahaha! : )
SO fun! Thanks Bob!

Definitely... It's a great time and the field is pure EDF heaven!Originally posted by Alpha.MotionRC View PostHighly recommended, as always, guys! Robert's event is always a treat from what I hear from anyone who attends. I'm considering a cross country flight to get there this year; it would be so nice to meet more of you in person.
