Cool, I'll keep that offer in mind. First plane I plan to tackle would be the U-2R before I move onto the SR-71 and F117

DD, We have a "Habu" here in Hutchinson at the Cosmosphere. It hangs from the girders, but if you need some photos of a specific part, I will be happy to 'give it go'. Access is good to the bottom side obviously, and from the front as it hangs at an angle with the nose about 5 feet from the floor. Let me know if I can assist. Best, LBOriginally posted by Dirty Dee View PostRecently I tested a black ABS print against the summer heat. Left the pieces out in 94 deg F weather on asphalt for about 20 minutes. Surface temperature reached 141 deg F with no signs of softening or warping. I have some "black bird" designs planned after validating this, and I already started on the first one. Should have something to show in the next week or 2.

Finally got the PBY flying. Shes a great flying machine once dialed in. Took 6oz of lead in the nose along with the 2 3000mah 3s packs in parallel. Might call her the lead sled. But man what a beautiful flyer.
This is my freshly finished PBY from 3D Lab Print. It printed in in about 2 weeks, and runs on 2 parallel 3s 3000 packs, even with those all the way forward ...Last edited by rifleman_btx; Jul 15, 2019, 08:07 AM. Reason: Put 6s last night, really it was 3s... sorry was tired

hey all, finished the tweaks and my A330-300 is now available for download:
This 1/30th scale A330-300 was designed with scale appearance in mind, and utilizes custom retracts designed to enable the odd angles needed for the main and nose gear. Spaces throughout the airframe have provisions to allow the installation of 5mm LEDs for navigation lights with minimal drilling or cutting. Due to the small wheel sizes, this cannot be flown from grass. Although the plane was designed for 6S 70mm EDFs, a 4S power system will be sufficient and can allow for a lighter flying plane. Wingspan: 2006mm(79 in) Length: 2122mm(83.5 in) Wing Area:40.18 dm2(623 in2) Free assembly manual can be downloaded from my profile, via the free A330 tail section. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/1-30-scale-a330-300-tail-section-rc-edf Thread on RCGroups, also has the assembly manual PDF download: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?3359037-1-30-Scale-A330-300-%282006mm-Wingspan%29 Original Design/Build Thread: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?3117172-1-30-Scale-Airbus-A330-300-%283D-Printed%29 Maiden Flight Video: https://youtu.be/i94KQ5vHzAE (2025-06-03) • Xfly 64mm Compatibility • Updated Tail 3mf files (2025-04-06) • Xfly 70mm Compatibility • STLs for printable tires that can be used instead of purchasing the Dave Brown units. (2025-03-30) • Version 2 official update. V1 files available in archive ZIP, but no longer supported. • Wing4 and Wing5 updated for better wire clearance at joint. • Fuselage1 and Fuselage7 A330-200 Variant STLs added • Assembly Instructions for Nose, Nose Landing Gear, and Main Landing Gear Doors • Added missing STLS for various fuselage details. • Added Wiring clip and receiver tray STLs inside Fuselage subfolder. • Bambu Studio 3mfs for complete project • Nacelles have compatibility for Freewing or HobbyOcean 70mm EDFs.

Hey Y'all, Designed new pylons, build mods made, ordinance printed, with most assembly & painting complete, then a few markings and mounting on the F-4 Phantom. Acknowledgements and special thanks to DirtyDee, Apmech1 and Crxmanpat for their original work with all the ordinance designs, You Guys Rock! All my mods were for size, fit, mounting, and variants, but without your original work none of that would look as good as it does. Bravo Zulu. I will post pictures in the F-4 forum with everything mounted and then its on to the check flight. WooHOO! Best, LB
