Where did you get the 760kv motor from? What ESC are you using? Are you flying with 4S?
Nice looking Bearcat. I've always like the Flightline Bearcat, but when I was ready to buy one they were out of stock. So, I decided to buy the Arrows RC Bearcat, instead.

Got the Bearcat up again today for a couple of flights, the wind was down for the most part, but the temp dropped off and we ended up getting snow in the afternoon. This is actually parts from Bearcat one two and three and the Tigercat. That 760kv motor is deadly, it goes faster than the stock motor when I'm only pushing half throttle. Wide open and its like the Avanti!

An 80mm with a different colour scheme would be very tempting

No pictures from today, but a few of us from our club all met at the field this morning. We got in 2-3 a piece before the wind really kicked up (18-20+mph). What a great day for flying in the second week of march.

The weather gave us a few hours yesterday afternoon. I got a chance to get out with the Dolphin again.

Thanks to Cliff (dlktdr) for the open source head-tracker build! I am really enjoying the wireless head-tracker feature not worrying about tugging the trainer chord. I move my head a lot in flight. Smooth, fast, and precise tracking meaning not having to recenter HT at all during flight is great. I forget HT is there just feel I am one with the plane; dare I say like a fighter pilot

I sure do admire you guys that jump into the turbine arena. I’m not there yet, but it sure is something that interests me. Congrats on getting your waiver 406!

First day of the year for me at out the field. Warmer, sunny, and light winds, too much to resist! Got in a few flights on this “rescued” Antic Monoplane, which was a winter project. correct I rescued an old 1900mm Seagull models T34 C that was about to be burned by the owner, It weighed 6.2kg with a lot of lead in the nose. and few like a dog, The heavy weight and short triangulation of the original model wheels lead to it flipping over on taxi, .broke the canopy, bust the cowl etc and the owner got fed up with it so i decided to have a go at a taildragger version with extended nose and fixed gear, The canopy is made from the surviving bits of the old canopy with a rear scuttle in balsa added I reworked the cowl to fit the new model. I had the 4 oleos so I went for double oleo fixed gear as the oleos I had were not strong enough for single leg gear. I had a couple of unused analogue standard size servos for elevator and rudder and steerable tail wheel.(old used small oleo) New 5055 430 kv motor 1500watt, 62amp on 6s. ( about 150wattsper pound in old money ), prop, spinner 125 amp esc, coveriing , rods, horns main alloy wing tube etc etc It sort of evolved over winter. It now weighs 4,6kg, no ballast required, flys better, floats on in to the grass field and handles the grass up to 2 inch long in winter no problem

I brought out an FMS Bf109F from mothball to fly FPV from cockpit. Got all the bits installed but too chicken to fly FPV in it yet. All line of sight flights end with scraping the wing tip (protectors). Will need to toe out the gear to see if that helps.

By the way, the Bf-109 has got to be the least represented model in RC fields. They are the most produced fighter aircraft ever yet Flightline has no model of one. Flightline has two FW’s already: the FW-190 and TA-152H. The glaring hole is in FL line up is a Messerschmidt 109F or G to dogfight the Spitfire MkIX. I would love to see one from Flightline!

The Maiden went well and the weather was good enough to do it in Montana in February. Had to take advantage of it while we had it as now 8 hours later we have 4-6 inches of snow and it's only 15-20 degree's out.

Yes I had two waivered turbine pilots one of which is a CD with me doing the buddy box. Everything for my Turbine endeavor is 100% following the guide lines to avoid any issues!
SUPER COOL! That's a nice jet Sir!
