Aircraft Spruce is cheaper than hobby shops (per sq inch) but then you have shipping. I order enough to make it worthwhile. Plus I need the 2 ft X 4 ft sheets while the hobby shop only goes as large as 1 ft X 4 ft (and usually only stocks 1 ft by 1 ft or smaller)

I maidened my wing that I made from Dollar Tree foam board, the fold over method, today. I figured out how to use this method and taper the wings. I used the guts from a RocHobby Swift. I can't believe the thing actually flew, much less, straight as an arrow. It really moves along or glides forever. It's about a 40"w.s. I used a c.f. arrow shaft for the spar. The ailerons are full length and I lifted up the outer 3" about 1/16" to counter tip stalling. This apparently works as well as washout, which is difficult to do. I also put vortex generators on the outer 4" It never tried to tip stall. Now that I've had a successful prototype, I'm going to start on a Horton 229. Dang!...This is FUN!!! DocComment
