Do you guys think applying a coat of minwax on this jet will stiffen up the airframe? Or is it even worth it?

Ideally you do it as pre-shading, and then overspray with a lighter grey tone. You can then control the final result by adding more or less over-spray.
thanks for the tip , it seams like a nice Technic to practice next time.

    Doubt it very much!
Apparently the pandemic delayed things... but anyway, it's finally advancing at a decent pace so maybe not that far off after all :)

Its almost 20 years since I took my son to see Casa Mila ( great balconies ) and La Sagrada Familia, I wonder if it will be finished by 2026 ?

yes that u said is true i dont wanna over do it and i keep a folder with a few detailed pictures of the real jet as a reference when i work on it but since the real once are big and you can easily see some details i try to exaggerate a bit , here is some from what i have done so far

And yeah, maidening with CG at 170mm is a bit extreme... better to start at 160 and slowly work and adjust from there.
When the CG is very aft, you need to push the nose a bit down when the jet is flying slow, but it's not really tail heavy.
This is normal and to be expected. ;)

    - adjust the TV nozzle to more centered location , rudder wise and bitch wise
Didn't you check for nozzle alignment BEFORE the flight??
As mentioned, the Su-35 usually asks for a little bit of pitch-up trim built in the nozzles to fly level.
And did you remember to separate the nozzles from the trim function so that trimming in flight doesn't change thrustline?

Glad you heeded my call on that one...

Big throws and no expo is a big no-no for this aircraft! ;)

oh i forgot to mentioned my setup .. it was as following :-
    1- Throttle ( throttle channel)
    2- Ailerons Y ( aliron channel)
    3- Right Taileron ( elevator channel )
4- Rudders + TV Yaw + Wheel Steering ( rudder channel ) so yaw TV is working all the time

    7- Left TV ( AUX2 channel )
    8- Right TV ( AUX3 channel )

    mixes :
1- Right Taileron to left Taileron ( for elevator control )
    2- aileron to right raileron
    3- aileron to left raileron
    4- alierons to right TV
    5- alierons to left TV
6- right talieron to right TV
