I added an 80mm fan to the plane. Says so in the videos title...

Has anyone gotten a max speed timing on the F-35 yet? My F-16 has hit 102MPH. Just wondering how it compares. The F-86 in sub 100MPH,while the Bae Hawk might be a little faster than the F-16. Yak-130 is the low 90's. Timing on GPS or radar gun.?

The plane is a blast to fly! Much more grunt with weight and flight times nearly identical to stock! it is still a work in progress but a huge success thus far! The fan has since been rebalanced and I will soon add reflective tape to the thrust tube to help smooth it out. take a look...

You bet Ray and you are right about being able to see it. Also, it is brightest on full throttle and I rarely fly this jet full throttle.

The Firey Booty is usually much brighter than that. Are you sure it's connected up right? Also some ultra-white paint or reflective tape inside the nozzle will make it brighter.
It has a lot to do with the camera too. Especially with those sky conditions. The contrast makes it hard to get things to show as your eyes will see. It does help quite a bit with white paint in the thrust tube!! I am going to be rebuilding a monster of an F-35 in the coming weeks and will make the thrust tube white and tail cone the proper color as well...

I've been traveling and on the road all week. Soon as I get some time on Monday or Tuesday I'll get travel measurements for my spoilerons and radio configuration posted up.

Here is my spoilerons and flaperons. What do you think?
Should there be more movement and does they need mixing with up or down elevators Click image for larger version

How do u plug that to reciever. I think im asking right questions. I flew mine last wend. Oh well crashed on take off no damage,.... Took off. A bit high alfa and thought was to slow airspeed flying well so reduced elevator thinking increase speed but did so and no alpha lost height... And gentle crash. Point being that bit of alpha good 4 landing and launching. Hope that makes sence. Just worth mentioning. It flys easy with less aileron

What kind of radio system are you using? You should have some sort of option under plane type etc..

I'm using spectrum as soon as I get time I can post the travels I said I would this weekend along with the setup details.

Yeah its pretty amazing how well it can work! I spent quite a bit of time figuring out how they work with my sky surfer back in the days and also had a pylon racer that would not slow down at all until I decided to try spoilerons on it. Once I did it would slow down to a crawl to land! From my own experience using them makes the plane much more controllable with the nose up and makes is almost impossible to stall. I will have to try it out on the F-35 too but use the spare channel for my afterburner at the moment. Maybe this new airframe will get the spoileron treatment. I use the LemonRX 7ch with gyro which should make it even better....

I'll have to get the F35 off the wall and toss a battery in to measure it for you. I'll try and do that later this morning / today then i'll get it posted up for you.
