  • With that being airport property (the old U.S. Navy side of McCoy which is now Orlando Int. airport MCO) and less than a mile to the active runways, seems like the B4UFLY ap would say you can't fly there.

Yes, right in the middle of no fly, controlled airspace.

    • Looking to get another jet to replace my F-86 that I flew the piss out of. I ended up giving it to a friend of mine whose dad worked on them. Anyway, how does this jet compare to the F-86 as far as flight performance and landings? The F-86 was such a sweetheart to fly and land even in less-than-ideal conditions especially in the wind which get plenty of here in Oklahoma. Thank you.

      • Faster, zippier. A little smaller and heavier loaded so not quite as floaty landing but over all another really good flying plane.

Thank you for the feedback. I may go ahead and get this one since the F-86 is still on backorder.

          • T-33 is a good choice too.

              • I've put about 50 flights on the Cougar since October, a very nice flying jet. The only thing I changes was to remove the included gyro and installed a Spektrum receiver with AS3X+.I spent some time fine tuning, but nothing serious. I compare it a lot to the T-33, you just put batteries in it and go fly. Nothing complicated, plug in the wings and it's been 100% reliable. Overall a great flying airplane.

ID:	426751 Recently received my Cougar. Such a good looking plane i wanted to display it while getting skills and nerves to maiden, but have limited space. Therefore, designed and 3d printed some small adapters to fold wings up. Here is the files if wanted: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7054721

I bought one not to long ago myself and found it to be one of the best flying EDF jets out there, very easy to fly and looks and sounds great too. Good luck on your maiden flight.

Saw one like that with the wings folded at the museum this February! I will have to print your part design. Very cool idea!

                                • Perhaps someone can help. I seem to be having a problem with the Gyro in my new cougar. With the Gyro on if I am doing a reverse Cuban eight as a turnaround maneuver when I go to pull it over the top, the airplane rights itself without any command from me.If I do the same maneuver with the Gyro turned off everything works as it’s supposed to and I pull through the loop and return across the field. Has anyone else experienced this problem and is there an adjustment that’s possible to the Gyro settings? • I have a buddy who accidently pulled out his LG and flaps leads from either the gyro or LG coordinator. He doesn't know where to plug them back in. He's reaching out for help since it apparently doesn't show it in the manual.

Can any of you fine folks help? Much thanks!

                                      • He should call Motion.

Seriously, there is a MCBe blue box and they plug into it. Neither of those go through the gyro.
