    Congrats JS78….
    For a bit more reliability, consider adding the following:
    -At least a 3,300 uF capacitor tied to an open slot on the RX. There’s a lot of big servos on this bird, so the capacitor will help keep the RX power stable when servos are moving about.
    -As discussed at length on Hobby Squawk, large high-current ESC birds benefit from adding RF chokes. These have been shown to help maintain secure RX/TX communications.

    I took my freewing 80mm V2 A-10 out for the Maiden yesterday,it was such a joy to fly,no surprises etc,just good flyin and the landing was perfect,I used the SMC 4400mah 6 cell 80c packs and kept the cg a little tail heavy(about 4 minutes on timer them and I came in at 3.89 on the cells),going to try my HRB 5000 mah's this week,

    With the 6000 packs, you may be balanced a little forward of the marks, but she handles fine.

    I suggest you read all the posts in this forum. Lots of good info and “quirk” tips, if any. She’s a great flying bird, but she can scoot away into the distance fast.

    Just ordered this bird, went with the inrunner version and plan on using my SMC 6S 6000mAh packs. Any quirks to be aware of? CG placement correct? Thanks for any info

    Get the inrunners there way more efficient 5min+ flight time. I made the mistake of buying the outrunner version and the flight times were just over 4min I purchased and swapped out for the inrunners and way more power and longer flight time.

    I think you'll find that weight won't be an issue. The V2 has TONS of power. Lighter batteries will allow you to move the CG more aft, of course.

    thnx gliderguy i bought 2 smc HCL-HP 4400 mah 6 cells and 2 HCL-HP 5200 Mah 6 cell packs, im going to see how my maiden goes this week and each pack, might get another pair of the SMC 4400's,a little shorter flight time and lighter

    Guys, I'm getting ready to take the plunge here... I'm leaning towards the inrunner version with gyro (I'll use AS3X+ instead). Anybody have a vote in favor of the slightly cheaper outrunner version?

    I use mine to measure pack voltage for the Radio Master XR8 receiver.

    Many of today's foam planes come with this, even ones that have only one ESC. It's like a "PTO" on industrial vehicles. People are finding more and more reasons for a power access point.

    Hi everyone, I just received my new A10 v2 with gyroscope and I have a quick question. As you can see in the photo, it has a UBEC connector on one of the plugs and an empty cable on the other.

    I understand the UBEC goes to my receiver, but what about the other cable?​

    Just maidened mine today. CG 15 mm behind the book position. 2x 6s 5000 CHNL 70C lipos. No ordeenance. Flew extremely well , very stable with a great roll rate on HI.
    Landings were very straightforward.
    Will buy more packs!!!
