Photos of the Dynam Waco getting closer to being ready for her maiden flight. I could balance and fly it as-is, but I want to finish my customization before her first lift-off. This morning, however, she got to pose in the sunlight, flex her controls a few times, and taxi a few feet under her own power. My wife is going to make my custom decals on her Cricut, which will include a custom plane number, rather than the stock N7020L from the decal kit. As such, I cut the side-stripe decals and just applied the front part, leaving me plenty of room for the planned custom decals. Once I have the pilot figure finished and installed, and the wing rigging installed, I can final-check the CG and adjust as needed.
I'm really enjoying this project, even if Dynam's instruction manual leaves a LOT to be desired.4 PhotosComment

Nice! I was thinking of doing the same with my redcat gen7. I'm glad it works so well. That has me stoked! My gen7 has a winch on itComment
