Last pics for now. The box has its screws and a test fit of the Power 60. :Sleeping2: Need to add triangle stock and a little epoxy to finish them off... I don't think they will structurally fail....

Last comment for this session. The boxes are over-built. But, I have that latitude since the glow engines with muffler weighed 17.8 ounces without the mount. The Power 60's weigh about 13.4. So I need to make up about 4 ounces on each setup to keep the CG in the range... So with the ESC and wiring and such, it should be very close!!! Good night (morning) all...:P

Just found this is the SPAM blocker... This is the reply from Castle Creations on the battery to ESC extension length....
Jerry,
Max length between the ESC and battery is 12”. Any more than that and you’ll want to add an external capacitor pack to the ESC wires to prevent damage to the onboard capacitors. Here is a link to the cap pack we make. http://www.castlecreations.com/en/cc...ck-011-0002-02
Please let me know if you have any other questions. I’m happy to help, and have set up many multi-engine aircraft.

These are a few of the pieces for the motor mounting and boxes. The servo screws are for the boxes. 12 on each box, so 48 total.... Then there are the 6/32 x 3/4 inch SHCS, lock washers, and tiny #6 fender washers to mount the Power 60's. I don't have any regular #2 screws for the back of the boxes, so I am having to modify 24 of them by grinding the washer off each one!!! That way they counter-sink and will fit flat against the old firewalls... No wonder my head hurts.... LOL :Silly: So ready to move on from these today...3 Photos

Happy Birthday BTX!!!:Cake::Balloon::Drinks: That ugly firewall will be beautiful next time around!!!3 Photos
