PSA - Use a pin or screw or something in addition to the magnets holding your hatch. It's not fun to watch the hatch float down and land in a bean field that seems endless!
    Hey I_Fly!

Thanks for the tip on the screw. I'll definitely take your advice. If you don't mind me asking, are the required servos mini's or micros? I know the instructions call for mini's, but the photos I've seen with servos looks like the guys are using micro's.

What is the correct choice on this one?

I couldn't find dimensions, so figured I'd post the question here...

      Thanks!
Did you ever get an answer? I just ordered mine 2 days ago and am deciding between the FG30r3, the FG60r3, or a UMS 55 5 cylinder. I'm definitely putting a radial in her, but need to know the inside dimensions of the cowling to make sure whichever i choose will fit inside completely, minus the exhaust exit of course.

      • Yes the small Saito fits in the cowl perfectly. have to use the baffles. Its what I fly mine with.

Thanks, Matt. Sounds like if I go this route, skip the Keleo ring and stick with the stock exhaust tubes? Or should the Keleo ring fit without cowl mods as well?

Also, I've never used a baffle... this would be my first radial. Do you have a photo to demonstrate the placement of the baffles?

          • I use the Keleo ring no problem

            • I'm not home now or I would show you the baffles I bought from keleo the glue into the cowl and should be positioned about midway on the cylinders of the radial

              • Ordering as soon as they are back in stock. Will a 30CC twin fit in the cowl? And is that enough engine?
