Cmon LB. Did you ever fly a jet when you were in the service, where the canopy wasn’t all scratched up and nasty? AirForce living must have been better than USMC ops.Originally posted by Elbee View PostHey Y'all, looking at the Page 1 forum pictures it appears as if all the 'clear' parts are "once again" more translucent, than transparent.
I tried polishing my Corsair canopy glass and even bought a second one hoping to 'get lucky' though not the case.
Even 91% IP Alcohol fogs over some OEM clear parts.
Does anyone know of a way to polish or 'clear up' the fog in OEM clear parts?
Inquisitively, LB

Here's a pic of a model of the Doolittle B 25.Originally posted by davegee View Post
There are certainly tons of choices. I'm not sure if I have room for a new airplane without selling one first, but I would like to have this one. For me, what struck a chord was doing one of the Doolittle Raiders, maybe Doolittle's plane, or Ruptured Duck with pilot Ted Lawson. One of my favorite aviation stories was this daring raid.

As you can see, to make it authentic, you'd have to remove the tail gunner blister, install broom sticks as tail guns relocate the upper turret and remove the side gun blisters. Not saying it can't be done especially by DaveGee, but a lot of work. The results would be cool, especially if she flew on the anniversary of the raid. We were fortunate to have Doolittle's co pilot at the 4th of July parade a few years ago, with a B 25 doing a low pass over main street. We also had warbirds visit us on numerous occasions.

Definitely is doable, but a lot of work. I did this to my FSK B-25. Removing the side gun blisters and waist guns is a pain, but it’s the only way to get a proper B-25B.Originally posted by Grossman56 View PostAs you can see, to make it authentic, you'd have to remove the tail gunner blister, install broom sticks as tail guns relocate the upper turret and remove the side gun blisters. Not necessarily true. While I can't nor won't go into details, all I can say is that we have fortified our team with some excellent hires in recent months. Hoping we get some attention of the the heli front.. New airplanes, tanks, cars, and boats every year, but hardly a new aircraft from Roban in the last 5 years. Some promising small helis, but nothing really above 450s..Originally posted by Aros View Post

BTL, are your B-17's the older Freewing bird? Regardless, what a great collection, Sir. Best, LBOriginally posted by borntoolate View PostConverting the FMS B-25 to a B-25B does take some effort, but it is well worth it.I solemnly swear to "over-celebrate" the smallest of victories.~Lucky B*st*rd~

borntoolate Aros The 1875mm is HK, right? And currently available.
Not that I need one, I have the old Freewing NIB, but cannot find much information except a couple old videos that don't tell me much.
Figure it will just need everything redone, but par for the course with me.
In the mean and the near future, I am looking forward to the New Flightline B-25 Mitchell and already thinking about some modifications.
A Model C/D most likely at this point, so I'll need the "Spare Parts" to be available soon
Motion RC.

Yes sir HK. The only drawback (besides the flimsy stock props) are the panel lines. They dug too deep a trench for those. Otherwise, beauty! My YouTube RC videos:
