Todays saga! Decide to go for a full build, wings, booms etc to see weight and fit in car assembled. If not I'd have to decide whether wings come off or booms come off, well no need to panic it fits in fully assembled without the removable nose cone, result!. The car by the way is a Kia Rio mk3 so a small car. The weight is 2380grams with a 3600MAh fitted, a little under the given weight probably due to the smaller battery. The bad news is the screws provided for the booms are to short to engage the plastic nuts inside the boom they need to be approx 5mm longer. The ones provided are 2.5 x 25mm you need 30mm or a 3mm screw to engage further up the plastic screw. When you get the kit you will understand. The nut I mention is actually a tube with a guide hole then tapers inside to take the thread of the screw. Beware of having too long a screw as there are servo wires close bye. I've also change the wheels for DuBro set. Thats it for today, I've been flying this afternoon and have some batteries to charge. Brian

We're in the process of finishing the adjusted molds. No pre-order until the approved batch is ready. At this point the pre-Christmas arrival window has passed.

Glad to hear making progress. This one is a must have. Hope a 3Dpup kit is in the works too. I love my marauder but had a recent disappointment with landing gear cold weather issues(mid 40f). Are the retracts going to be the same as shipped in the B26 ? I have replaced the mains due mechanical failure with oem dynam replacements from MRC. These are the ones that failed in cold opps. Forums say eflite makes some that are a drop in fit (1.2mm trojan) but $95 for a set stings....alot. For now the marauder is grounded, would like to know about the widow retracts. And if dynam would not glue or bury the retract connectors for the inevitable that would make me happy. I'm with you on this one Rifleman. That was just the unboxing you should view the finish build video. What Robert had to do was rediculess. I cant figured that Motion would even consider selling this to the consumers . Would post site but im on a phone and dont know how.

Guys this is why you don't see the Black Widow on our website yet. Motion RC has special quality and market ready requirements that need to be met before we will approve any product for release. Because other RC resellers and wholesalers do not have these same strict requirements you may occasionally see early version products make their way to the market before you see them available for sale from Motion RC. In the case of Dynam, Motion RC is the only company that has a dedicated employee at the factory making improvements to their products and making sure that the version that gets shipped to Motion RC, and eventually our customers, meets our quality requirements. The marauder was my first dynam and when i bought it i knew it would be far from perfect. I had to "dynam (used as a verb)" the thing like everyone else but it's still one i would buy again. The vast opinion on dynam is that their aircraft fly well and they are more affordable than their counterparts, if there was a counterpart as no one makes some of what they are offering. With MRC slowly bringing them up to a higher fit and finish, dynam will become even a better bargain. I cannot wait to hit the pre-order button(motion should make a limited edition keyboard with a real button). My Dynam airplanes might have needed some work but over all they have been great flyers. Dynam might not be on par with others quality wise but they make up for it in value.
We need companies like Dynam to help bring to market airplanes that others have not made yet or else we would be waiting around a lot longer for some of these rare birds.
