I found out the right track does not move regardless of input. Looks like the right motor is dead. What is the next step? Dai

    Hi all,

I just test drive the new Panther G I got from Toucan ( version 6.0/6.0s ). However the driving was so very poor that made me look further. Underneath the tank does NOT have the sticker 6.0S like my other 5. However I open up the tank and the board is 6.0. I cannot do a left turn as the pushing the stick to the left makes the tank goes backward. Also the right turn is at a crawl. Please advise. Dai

I think the one on the left goes on the LH side of a Panzer IV. Not sure about the others.

    Hi all,

Can you please tell me where these parts go? Unless I am wrong these are for the fantasy Panther? Dai

Its an acid solution as well as being pretty toxic, so yeah rinse them in hot water.

Also, please remember the Germans used a steel manganese alloy for their tracks which has a natural medium-dark gray color.

The cold blue solution produces a nice dark gray, almost black color. Works very fast. You probably should flush them off with water after treatment because I think it's some type of acid solution, Also works nicely on sprockets and idlers.

Yes because it is a “Snow Panther”.

Forgive my ignorance. I have received my admiral 3500 mAh battery to replace the stock battery in my Panther. I have a nice battery charger. I do not see a setting for a lithium ion battery. Can the LiPo setting be used to charge this battery? Until I get a reply I am using the charger included with the tank but it is a very slow charger.

Oops, part number 8 on the left is the rangefinder and part 9 on the right is the periscope.

Okay, I have three plastic parts left over and I have, to the best of my knowledge, gone through the instructions and I do not see where parts #8, 9, and an unnumbered part should go. I have attached pictures of the parts in question. On page 6 of the manual parts 8 and 9 are shaded. Part #8 (item on the left in the picture) looks like a periscope. Part #9 (item on the right in the picture) looks like a rangefinder. I have no idea as to what the third part is (center). Click image for larger version

Well, I was trying my first foray into weathering. Here are a couple of shots of my attempts with my new Panther Type G. I am afraid the picture of the commander I painted is regrettably a little fuzzy. But here they are.

Without our own manuals to know which are 8 and 9, or descriptions, it'd be hard. Any pics?

Ok, I have gone over the instruction sheets for attaching the miscellaneous parts. However, I find that parts 8 and 9 were omitted. Can someone please tell me where these two parts are supposed to go?

Rubicon, thank you. I have already purchased an Admiral 3500mAh battery and have a very nice G.T. Power 4 battery bay charger with a B40 400 watt power supply. Unfortunately my battery was out of stock and has just been shipped so I am stuck with the stock battery. I think after it charges I will use my charger to charge it.
