A Father's Day tribute to my father who flew the A-4 for the USMC from 1966-1977. I worked with Callie Graphics to get the same squadron VMA-121 he flew with in his tour of Vietnam including air support for the seige of Khe Sanh. The decals are so accurate that (1) the tail number 150092 matches the plane he flew on several occasions as we verified in his log book. (2) Capt Doug Walton and the 300 bomb decal appears as it did on his real jet.

Base Jet: Freewing 70mm BaE Hawk, base grey.
Modifications:
1) Repainted to Ace Combat 4 "Yellow Squadron" livery
2) Graphics by Callie (nomenclature only) and cut my own modex numbers.
3) Mixed my own greys to contrast with the original base grey. Masked and painted yellow for underside. Then, masked off first layer of dark camo, then followed up with light camo. Final coat with satin polycrylic!
