Looks nice Rifleman. Will you be using the same material tapering down for the motor cover. I think the forward placement of the motors might be the ticket.

Haven't decided yet. I'm thinking about just a card stock cover with some glass on top. But not sure yet. I'm going to go over my options, it will either be cutting the bottom of the tubes off that is in the cavity anyway and using that material or card stock.

I.m always eyeballing every thin food packaging tray or cover that comes into the house. You can use this clear thin plastic stuff, sand for texture and it paints well great for servo covers etc. I also got some thin plastic sheets they use for thermoforming , it's a bit thicker and more substantial when you need it. food tray stuff is really thin and light !

Rifleman your tenacity and problem solving is an inspiration! I was wondering what you decided to use to strengthen the wing, as it broke in two. You had mentioned you would add some spars.

Yes I did, I used 2 carbon fiber rods placed about 4-5" apartment, got a 12" long 5/16" drill bit and punched the holes into each half then glued it all together with 15 minute epoxy. The spars go out to the motor cavities. To hold the couplers to the shafts used a lock nut behind the couplers shaft side, they spin up to full power without slipping.
