I told Steve (RCJetDude) a while back that "I probably won't get into jets, I just like the warbirds" now I have over a dozen of them...if you started with the F-86 you would be hooked!

        • I've had 8-9 while I was in the service, mainly because they were easy to pack due to the small wings in comparison to the big planes. My biggest issue lately is when I get something I really love to fly I wanna fly the wings off it for 8-10 minutes at a time... maybe someone can build a nice C130 with a midair recharging boom that I can lock on to and get another 3-4 mins Lol! :)

          • Put a second pack in cargo bay and add a switch. :)

I've seen test versions of the 980mm, and it is very bright. Can't wait until he starts selling these. I have several 80mm setups that I will be getting, and I will get one for the F-4 once they are available for 90mm.
Looks like he has them available now. He just released a video.

                          • This just might work. I have a fair amount of sewing to do on it still and it is not perfect but it will do.

                                    • Just make sure you have a weak link in the chute ....in case of un-commanded deployment at altitude. This happened by the way to an SR-71 over Vietnam. Kelley Johnson had planned for that contingency. The crew made it home.
