I built this stand for the outstanding Freewing L-39 with room for the Freewing F-22 coming for Christmas.

skyboom I call those pilots ol mitten hands hope they don't have to flip any switches (which I put on wrong side of cockpit lol) with there mittens...if I had it to do again id pop off there arms and fix the angle..at least make an effort to grab the stick

Glad it worked out for you. My experience was rather more dramatic. The roll was instant and wicked and I only just got away with it.
Just as an aside, have you guys noticed that when you do use delay, the movement is not smooth, it sort of steps in a slightly jerky manner? Curious if its like that for everyone?

You could be right about bad servos but if you look at all the reports of stuck flaps, I have yet to see a report of a stuck flap where delay has not been used. Update after my maiden...after taking off and flying beautifully for a while, upon deploying the flaps one got stuck xDDDD. Actually I did not feel it is so dramatic like some seemed to describe it, totally controllable (my low flaps is high on manual...and full is like around 80 degrees down). Anyway will try without delay in the coming days and check.. I continue thinking delay has nothing to do but we will see Lol...

My L-39 has 4 hours on it. I have always used a 3 second delay in the flaps. All the delay does is slowly change the pulsewidth of the signal. It's the same thing as when you move a control stick.
I'll bet that you guys just have bad servos. Try replacing the flap servos.

Hi Flyboy48, welcome to Hobby Squawk! The Factory-Printed 3DPUPs for our recent aircraft have turned out to be very, very low demand, to the point that it constrains our ability to mass-produce them in the quantities (and speed) as we originally planned. But don't worry, we'll still have the L-39 cockpit set available on MotionRC.com for those of you who don't have access to 3D printers. There are some things behind the scenes but I'd estimate a few more weeks before the L-39 set is in stock. Interestingly, according to our download history, the free file downloads are outpacing the pre-printed purchases by about 50 to 1. It seems more of you have printers than we thought!

I have seen a couple of posts about the 3D printed cockpit parts. It was stated that the parts would be made available for sale. I sent an E-mail to Motion and was informed that they will not be making them available for sale and to download the 3D files. What about us guys that don't have 3D printers or don't know someone who has one.

5 second delay on mine and never a problem. If I played it totally safe based on what I’ve read I’d never fly it at all

With asymmetrical extension slower would be better if you recognized it as such and recovered right away. One aileron "snapping" down and one staying up isn't very appealing. If it isn't working right it might decide not to work right at all variances of movement. I'm going to keep mine at 4 seconds until it misbehaves.

you guys are scaring me about the flaps lol. lights and flaps are the only thing I haven't y harnessed to the rx everything else seemed to just not work well in the blue box
