I didn't start any negativity, I just debated an opinion of yours that I don't agree with. But of course, from what I see here, I have to think the same as you; otherwise, I'm either "arrogant" or "negative." As I said in my previous message, I'm not going to waste any more of my time with you. This conversation is going nowhere, and we're just dirtying the thread about this wonderful, "fast" plane.

    Have a great day!!!

It's not arrogance, it's just standing firm in my opinion. Please, if you only have to watch videos of the Vulcan 4s flying, you'll see that I'm right. I'm not here to make friends or influence anyone. I'm here to find information if I need it (and whether you like it or not, and whether you agree with me or not), and of course, to give my opinion. But that's it. Let's leave this discussion here because it contributes nothing to the thread about this wonderful and "fast" aircraft. You get offended too quickly, don't you think?

      Have a nice day man!!!!

Well, that's very easy on your part; you wouldn't have continued commenting after that message. I don't blame you because everyone is free to express their opinion, but always with respect. And you lost your temper with this message: "Having to say your peanut gallery thinks it's fast doesn't mean a thing. They probably just feel sorry for you." I think that after that message of yours disrespecting me, I should have ignored you. But since I'm a very clear and transparent person who likes to debate, I kept responding. A huge mistake on my part, and I recognize it. This ends my debate with you, now and forever.

On the flip side both Xviper and myself have helped a very large number of people while in these threads. I even suggested how to slow down your retracts a year ago in your very first posts.

I hope you do remain in the threads and help people when they have questions.

And why wouldn't I help anyone who needs it on this forum? The fact that I don't want to know anything about you and xviper has nothing to do with the rest of the users. Of course, I'll stay on this forum and help anyone who needs it however I can

Again arrogance that you presume to know my feelings. Think what you like but, and this is not an opinion, you are wrong.

Why continue? After saying you won’t?

Now I think you are just trolling.

Okay then, hope this is still the Vulcan thread …

I just ordered one. Along with a 10ch Rx. Looking forward to the maiden if the weather ever stops sucking.

                            :)

Of course, it's still the VULCAN thread. You've made a great purchase, my friend. You'll see how this aircraft will give you many great flights. We look forward to photos when you have it ready for its maiden flight, and of course, a video too. I hope you enjoy it for a long time, and you know, if you have any questions, we're here to help in any way we can.

Thanks guys ! Will need to get some proper lipos too. Unless I can cram two 6S 2700s in parallel but I’m thinking probably not.

This is my 4th EDF: Viper 64mm, L-39 64mm, Avanti 80mm, and Vulcan 70mm. Found a ‘proper’ flying field so I’m hoping to be crashing mush less ;)

The Vulcan has a pretty good size battery area. What are you using in the Avanti? They may work.

I’m the guy using two 6S 2700s in parallel in the Avanti. Have to stack them to be able to push them all the way back. Total weight for both batts and parallel cable is 860g. Probably too heavy for the Vulcan I’m thinking.

Up till now I’ve been trying to minimize acquiring too many different sizes of lipos. The 64mm jets both take one 2700 and the Avanti takes two ;) However, I’ve decided “Screw it - life’s too short. Get the damn batteries lol “

Not gonna lie, the Avanti still kinda scares me. Probably should have gone the Vulcan route first.

We all put up a valiant effort in that regard. I tried for the first few years but as the planes kept coming and going, I came to the realization that minimizing my batteries was a lost cause. I'm guesstimating now that over 250 planes and choppers have gone thru the hanger (of which I still fly about 50+). My batteries are in 3 large fire resistant safes and one large battery charging box - all about 2 cu. ft, all quite full except for the charging box, which is used for storage of regularly used LiPos. BTW, you may arrive at at time when you start collecting chargers, too. I have 3 twin chargers, sometimes all of them on the go at once.
My old Avanti was a very nice flying plane, but it and the one my friend had, had very weak nose nose steering mechanism. Drove on the ground like a drunken sailor. IMO, the Avanti flew about the same as the Vulcan 70mm, maybe a bit more spritely.

Definitely. Although only about 30 in this hangar so far (helis, planes, FPV quad copters, now EDF jets). Batteries already out of control - One more smoke stack isn't gonna pollute the world, right? (err, maybe not the best analogy)

Yes, a pile of chargers too. Have settled into mostly using old iChargers - two 106B+s, and one 206B. Had to replace the tact switches on the PCBs. Lots of parallel charge cables too. Two 350W power supplies.
