I wonder when we'll find out if they make it on a container before CNY or not.

Barely 4 minutes of flight with a 5000mah.... And 14% remaining!!!!
Not terrible, and moreover without armament....
And yet he does not pull that much in it....
Otherwise it flies well, too bad for the flight time....

1.5 sec after lift off "oh baby, it feels good"....
If it was 3.8/ cell and a full 4min maybe. He said 5000 Admiral. If that's the old 5000 50C then I have to say that's pretty good as that battery is not known to be a very good battery. Add that he really didn't do much high speed, high power stuff and I have to wonder about the new fan/ motor and if going to a better quality 5000 or 6000 pack on the stock set up is going to make me happy. It's still early days.

I've only ever used Callie's decals on a couple of planes and yes, they are easy to apply. The biggest was on my AL-37. The WestJet logo on the tail was BIG and it went on fairly easily, much easier than the stock tiger decal on the tail of my MiG29, which has a few ridges and lumps and bumps for the decal to go around. I think this Eurofighter will have similar lumps and bumps on the tail.Originally posted by kallend View Post
I found Callie's decals pretty easy to apply even over large surfaces.

Not bad at all. I'm typically happy with 3.5 minutes on jets like this. I think if one were to use a 6000mah, HV pack like the Coddar, 5 minutes should be achievable on the 6s model. On an 8s model, I think twin 6000mah, HV, 4s batteries could possibly get a little more time.Originally posted by JamesonC View Post

This completely random, but after watching the Eurofighter maiden video (congratulations!), I noticed a majority of the MotionRC logo on the bottom right of the screen (specifically the "Motion" part) goes completely unseen in the white/gray background of a cloudy sky. Furthermore, if the logo is against a blue sky, some blue portions of the logo appear faded.
If I may make a friendly suggestion, possibly consider outlining the entire logo in Black. Since the flight videos will experience cloudy skies at times and blues skies at other times, this would really help the logo's visibility on the screen, regardless of a white/gray cloudy sky or a blue sky.
Here is a screen shot below of the video to show what I'm talking about.

What do you mean non functional formation lights?
Notes:
At 0:55 "...out of the box without any decals on the model".... I hope, I think, he meant just the canards and tail.
Ball bearings on the canard shaft...
The red gear door switch is not open/ closed, it's single action (doors stay open with gear extended or dual action (doors close after the gear extend and the open prior to the gear retracting.
The fan/ motor specs he gave are for the 8S version.

I do remember them saying glow in the dark strips where the slime lights would be. Good catch.
At the 38th minute on this video he turns out the lights. No glow in the dark...

It seems to me that "glow in the dark" sticky take is a really good way to go if that's what an owner really wants. Saves having to run wiring through the foam for actual lights. Personally, I don't really care. I'm not a true "scale" guy.Originally posted by Evan D View PostI do remember them saying glow in the dark strips where the slime lights would be. Good catch.

Yeah I was skeptical at first but as it went on it looked promising then in the live stream they turned off all the studio lights and Nada. Not a glow nor a light. I might get the aftermarket ones and bang them in myselfOriginally posted by Evan D View PostWhen it was mentioned that's exactly what I thought they meant, not wired lights like someone made for the F-22...
