Something is wrong somewhere. My Mig will out climb my old Stinger 90 from a low throttle level flight punch to full and pull elevator every time. They do offer a higher KV inrunner version but it's currently out of stock. https://www.motionrc.com/collections...20kv-in-runner

Pat made a very good point that I forgot to mention. (just assumed that everyone knew it) Setting end point calibration is very important.
I typically do mine with throttle trim in the middle. Power on the TX, move throttle to full. Plug in the flight battery and when it beeps twice pull the throttle back to the bottom. Operation completed.

So I didn't fly my Mig this weekend but my buddies did while I flew other planes... I am bummed too because the coolest flight where my buddy was hovering his Mig and I was doing big barrel rolls around him....

That is a good point... didn't think of that..... yes that could do it as well

timing set to high will just draw more amps. You will not get any extra performance that you will notice. Low timing is best for outrunner or inrunner. I use the inrunner set up on mine and it works great on low timing. My buddies use low timing on their outrunners with great results too

packs are nano techs brand new for this model 45-90c, they get a little warm but nothing more, I have a esc from my stinger would it be worth swapping it for the one in the mig? I have a watt meter on order so this should help find the problem hopefully, the brake is not on. I have reset the esc with the throttle stick when the first two bleeps are heard but this has not changed anything.

Pic from the weekend. ::) agreed, check your esc settings as well jay. As an example, having brake on, will reduce your watts by at least 20%. The esc should be set up fine, I've never read of a freewing one needing changes but in other models it's got to me with brake set as on.

Something is definitely amiss Jay. The Mig is a rocket compared to the Stinger 90. Considering the % left in your packs after only two minutes I'd be suspect of them. You might want to hook up a watt meter and do some static testing. Sounds a lot like your pack(s) might be sagging under load.
How old/new are they? It takes about 5 cycles to get a lipo broken in and working at full capacity.
As for programmer, I don't know of one but the manual is available and it can be set with your radio.

what programmer can I use to change the setting on the esc, I have two flights on mine and it seems under powered, will the inrunner that freewing sell make it any quicker?. I fly from grass and it takes forever to get to flying speed and when in the air it does not seem to get going and the new nano tech 5000 only get two mins and have 26% left is this correct? I have had a 90mm stinger from the same grass and it went like a rocket so I was expecting the same sort of performance.
