Well the previous A-10 could use 90mm fans for propulsion using a first-party optional set of parts. I know it wasn't a drop in, 90mm is a different size than 80...
I have 2 counter rotating 90mm fans burning a hole in my parts bin that I'd love to find a home for, but there aren't many models out there for them.

Are we going to get flight vids of the In Runners ? Interested in Flight times on 6000's and the in runnersLeave a comment:

I have been lurking and pondering the FMS F-86 Saber or the FW T-33 Shooting Star...but this V2 release of the FW A-10 with upgraded landing gear suspension, 12blade fan, 80mm inrunner motors, LED Slime lights and integrated Gyro in the PNP version pushed me into an over stimulated fog induced purchase. This EDF should do just fine on our grass field. I did not realize the wings are removable which makes storage and transport much better than the F-86/T-33 aircraft.
Incoming!!

what are the Gyro setting for the A10? I'm getting the 9 blade version and adding the Freewing EG01 6 Axis Gyro Stabilized Flight Control System. not in the app software yet!Leave a comment:

I'm reasonably confident Wes flew all the daytime videos with the outrunner setup. I believe he shot a dusk video (a short of this flight was posted on our YouTube channel) and that flight may be with the inrunners, but I'm not 100% certain. I do know he has the inrunners installed now.Leave a comment:

Regarding 90mm nacelles, the new nacelles look the same, so possibly just get V1 90mm ones. We'll soon know 😊Leave a comment:

The old one could not just run 90's. It was an upgrade that consisted of a lot of parts including the whole foam motor pods. I think you know that but "The previous A-10 model could run 90mm fans" is misleading.

The previous A-10 model could run 90mm fans, can this one as well? Will the old conversions work?Leave a comment:

At least the A-10 V2 ESC pictures in the spare parts show the cap packs are present.

Pretty sure the mig 29 didn't come with extra external cap packs. I removed them and put them in a draw, sought them out earlier today to see if I should get the ARF A10 and they had no extra caps fitted.Leave a comment:

Ordered! Thanks for the tip!
From the variety pack (Amazon), pick what size fits in the room you have. Bigger wires will take bigger chokes to be able to close. Minor foam trimming may be needed. For the UBEC-to-RX wire, use the smallest choke from the variety pack.
Any choke is better than none.

Because of the long battery supply wire length, can anyone tell me if the ESCs have the added external capacitor banks like the MiG-29 has that are there to protect each of the ESCs?
On the MiG-29, the external bank of capacitors are located adjacent to each ESC.
Thanks,
