It also balances just fine with a 3000 if you want a little more time.

You can get up to 8 min. flights with the 4s 2200, seems to sip the battery. R.

I just noticed that the recommended battery is a 2200mah, 4s. That's pretty small for something with 4 engines. How long will this thing fly on mixed throttle with this size of battery? Will it take a bigger one?

I have the Fat Albert from the first release (lottery) I just pulled the trigger on the military gray version. Curious as to the updated changes to the flap geometry/flaps. I was able to use a 10% discount code so it wasn't too bad. ;)

I would have purchased one at the 1800mm they first stated that it would be, but was disappointed when I found out it was 8" shorter in wingspan.

I could do it but for the price they are selling these for, I shouldn't have to. Dynam and LX planes are in this category but their pricing is a couple of tiers below.
Perhaps one day, when there is a discount AND not be "out of stock", I may jump in and "fix it" before flying it.
Been flying for a year and I’m not a rookie but definitely not an advanced builder/tinker/pilot. The c-130 i have is fine. I had to play with the flaps a little bit but other than that it’s been fine. Flies really nice.

edit to add: just saw on rcg the new edition has updated flap servos, cleaned up wiring and new escs. Much of the initial complaints were about the flaps so looks like they fixed them.

I suppose they can put any discount they think looks good when they're "OUT OF STOCK".
