In looking at the individuals posting messages here I find that there are only a few that have been members longer than I. And I think that it would be better if some of the pettiness and infighting being posted here were stopped. That said, I think there are a few things that the folks at Motion RC could do better. For one, anyone logging onto their site will still see the B-25 is expected in early September. We all know that isn't true and in all fairness they need to clearly state that, at this point, they do not know when the plane will be available. I don't know how many planes they are expecting but from the number of folks on this site waiting for planes, I am not sure the current missing in action shipment and the 3rd shipment will cover those awaiting planes much less anyone else pre-ordering since the problem arose. I wanted a P-47 from a competitor which was out ot stock. I could have backordered it and my card would not have been charged until it shipped. I opted for notification of when it was back in stock and left it at that. By the way, the plane is in my hanger now. A message stating the B-25 is out of stock on the website, which it really is, and an offer to notify prospective customers when it is finally available would go a long way to avoid the angst the rest of us are currently feeling. With this product being now 6 weeks overdue, I also think the folks at Motion RC, knowing the angst among its customer base, could do a better job at keeping us informed as to the status of the planes which we, in good faith, paid for. I don't think what I have suggested is asking too much.

Do you think that you can work up the exhaust blisters we need to make up the missing ones to make the cowlings more accurate?.
Hate to put the pressure on you, but you do such great work rendering these fine details that you could make life much easier for the rest of us that are not tech challenged.

Could you share some photos of the feature you are interested relative to the model as is?

My plan for this plane was to look into something for the gunship versions on the nose. That won't start till I have it in hand.

I hope your panties being in a wad weren't because of me. As I said it was in jest.

I don't think anyone really cares how much you have spent or if you decide not to do preorders anymore...

I have been more than pleased with Motion RC and their customer service, and I'd venture to say that I've spent more money than most of you at Motion RC over the last 4 months. I simply disagree with the policy of charging people for a product and not shipping for over two months. This is not going to be the last airplane I order from Motion RC, but it will be the last airplane that I preorder.
And for those of you that are still confused about my credit card comment, let me clear this up by saying I never have to pay interest on my credit card because I do pay off whatever balance I have monthly. No, I'm not out of pocket interest on this preordered B-25. Just out of pocket for the cost of the model....for two months now. Trust me, this will not cause me to miss a meal. So, to the few of you guys that were offended, take a deep breath and relax, this too shall pass. It is truly amazing how ugly some people can get when hiding behind a computer screen.

Are we there yet... are we there yet....
ya'll sound like a bunch of whiny brats!.
Aros and the rest of the motion staff are just as pissed as we are about the situation.
MRC has been absolutely up front with everything they know about the delivery date and will continue to do so. So riding their ass isn't winning any friends or influencing the situation one bit.

So stow the heat on our favorite radio control company and cut them some slack.
and let's get back to being friends and enjoying this forum.
We have B-25's to talk about.

"The first shipment of the B-25s will now arrive at Motion RC in early Sept, 2023." Maybe they are still expecting it in early September?

And you are aware that the second shipment arrived first and people have been flying planes from that shipment for a couple of weeks. And you are also aware that the third shipment is due in at Motion any day and may arrive before the delayed first shipment.

Other than that if you want info maybe calling Motion or PM'ing Tom may get you more info.

We have not had an "official" update since Aug 30. Do we have any idea as to when this shipment is going to be released? I see the Motion RC website is still telling prospective customers that the shipment is due in Motion RC by early September.

I took the liberty to update the ETA on the product page to late September just to play it safe(r). If Tom learns of any change he will update accordingly. I'm waiting for mine too!

    No, that would be early-mid-September.

If you want early, mid and late you need to divide in thirds or approximately 10 days each, so early is through the 10th. But some may not consider a mid and only do early and late in which case it would be early through the 15th.

But I do expect an update soon. Motion has been much better than other companies for keeping us posted.

I think they need to update the product page. It still says the planes will be in at Motion RC in early September. Unless they arrive tomorrow the earliest will be mid-September.

FP, I'd say that goes for each of us.

No one, and I mean no one, could have foreseen US Customs choosing this particular container for a complete 100% inspection.

This has little to do with any single administration.

This is SOP and, frankly, in this day and age it is necessary, IMHO.

We all know the 'rules' when it comes to "Pre Orders" and if not, you had an opportunity to ask before dropping your hard earned cash/credit.

Motion RC does the pre-orders better than most. We pay our money while rolling the dice, you're either in or you're not. No whining.

    Respectfully, LB

I get that but it's just the way it is and it's been that way since day 1. If you don't like the policy, than don't order and just wait till it's in stock. It's a choice.
