I've never put waterslide decals on a foamy aircraft, until now. I liked how easily they went on and could be repositioned. I don't know how well they'll hold up from the wear and tear. I'm going to coat the plane with WBPA, in hopes that it'll help to keep the decals from rubbing and fraying. I went with Mitch the Witch, BTW.

I'm sure the durability is probably awesome with the original sets but I wanted a different graphic. I love all the different options from callie graphics. I liked all three sets that the plane came with but Mitch the with was my fave. I normally put a light coat of protectant over my planes also.

I found them easy to use. Warm water, slide them on, pat with a paper towel and go over them with decal setting solution which melted them down really nice. After drying I did a light spray of matte clear over them and the pre applied Star and bar as they were glossy compare to the olive drab.

No, the plane came with three sets of water slide decals and I have never used water decals but they look cool. I ordered a different set from callie graphics.

I received mine yesterday. I put everything together and I used a specktrum AR8020T as my receiver. I had to adjust the bomb doors to make them sit flush. Everything went together well. I ordered the B-25 '8Z' Graphics Set from callie graphics. I have never used water slide decals but they look cool. I have adjusted all the flight surfaces. I will probably do a maiden on friday because it has been windy here in Vegas.

I received my B-25 this morning. The build will have to wait for awhile. I am still recovering from my stroke. The left arm and hand still need more rehabbing!

LB, well crap. My order was June 28th at 0824. Looks like I was a proverbial day late and a dollar sjort, though I did pay in full.

June 27 6:45pm. No cigar. This is why you don’t think if you can or cannot fit another plane in your hanger. Just preorder it and worry about those pesky details later.

Maiden+ in the book. Book rates work well. I think it needs more flap. Even full is more giving lift than adding drag for landing. Also the book 1mm/3mm elevator comp is a little too much. Balance is good for a bomber, ie a little nose heavy. It could go back 1/8, maybe a 1/4 but it’s a bomber. Very stable at book CG. 9 minutes on a 5200. No gyro…

Parachute drop works perfect!

Tail sit test is a easy CG check.



That said I just finished doing some tweaking including adding more flaps and having close to the same angle between inboard and out board. My throw measured at the inside of the inner flap is now 3/4" for half and 1 1/2" for full.

You guys that have flown this model and landed with flaps, is the manual-recommended couple degrees of down elevator mixed with the flaps a good recommendation? It doesn't seem like much down E with flaps. I've got my B-25 setup with modes, on the flap switch; so, I can trim for flaps up, half flaps, and full flaps independently of each other. I'm just trying to decide if I should manually program a mix to reset the elevator when flaps deploy.
