Indeed, I was wondering what fieldofdreamsflyer used as a single pack in this plane. I have the 4000s for mine with that parallel adapter. I am happy with the fitment as well. Just wouldn't think a single battery in this plane would balance without addition weight.
Also, I put my new Admirals on a scale to compare them with the old, the new 4000's balance out lighter than the 3600 PRO's
Take a look at the specs on the single battery and the two 4s that you would normally use. The weights will be in the specs, then you'll know what if any you would have to add.

Nice, so still get generous flight time as well. I like it
I only fly for 5miin which is enough for me , and its mostly 3/4 power with a few fast flybys, but still have 40% left in the lipo
My P-38 i used a single 4s 5500mah in it and was fine , When I get the B-24 it will be using a 3s 6000mah in it
So flew her today... the only negative I have to say is... there's never enough batteries! wow this thing is in the running for favorite plane neck to neck with the carbon z T28!
I got the nanotech 4000mah 25c and after 7mins they were still at 3.90volts per cell. And still cold like they were never run at all. For 36 a pop, a good deal
Mine were on point from factory, but that doesn't mean every one will be. I still do the calibration flipflop before any maiden of any new plane I build.
