          • Never forget your first...

My M3 Lee, my first conversion which I started to build in January 2021, sits on my shelf a lot but is not forgotten. Today I gave her new shoes! She now has open spoked road wheels and center return roller bogies, more representative of the era. Gotta put the finishing touches - plugs, weathering - but she's proud!

            • All done, running well. I did return to using plastic tracks. Metal ones grinding against the 3DP wheels could shorten their life.

What are the little holes in the bogie plugs? The only way I could remove them without mangling them is to drill that hole, screw into it and pull it out by the screw. The return rollers come from Vandramodel and require a bunch of dremel cutting of the bogies to remove the original offset rollers.

                • They're part of a file on Cults3D.

A complete set to equip a Heng Long sherman tank with. It contains: Watering can Milk can (FDM printers may not be able to display the handles. then bend them out of wire) Speaker Grave light Sherman 5 spoke casters (just swap them for the original ones)
