Our club has reached 2k members in our FB group. Our young members also have created our own forum thru Discord. I am now letting them run our club discussion in Discord. It is time for me to relax, enjoy the hobby and be the spectator instead of the performer. Thank you all for following our thread in the last 2 years.

Our buddy/member Carlos converted this static 1/16 M8 Takom from Andy's Hobby into RC. Amazing!

The donated Tongde LeClerc tank by SoCal Bobs was upgraded. It was installed with the new HL 7.0 board, new controller, new LegoDEI IR receiver and the long range IR emitter. It is now available for purchase by our local new members or teen members at $120. I believe our 1st new member on the waiting list is Juan Ortiz. Juan has 2 days to decide. Then I will pick to next member on my list. Happy tanking! Please note, this tank NIB is $250 at MotionRC without the $35 LegoDEI IR receiver set and my 2 hour installation work from the mess Bob left inside the tank, heheh! Again, the $ received from this tank will be put into our club's fund.

We like the ways our members decorating their tanks. However, some of the accessories on your turret might obstruct the opponent's IR beam to the IR receivers of your tank. In the past, we asked all members to take out your machine guns, commanders, flags, or cameras before battling. Everything had to be below the IR receivers.

Now we feel that this decision will discourage members from adding nice items and from further decoration on their tanks. The new rule we will apply for this issue: Tanks with obstacles at the same level of the IR receiver will be deducted hits by your team captain at the beginning of each battle. Tank with 1 obstacle will get 1 hit reduction. Tanks with 2 obstacles will get 2 hits reductions. Tanks with obstacle at 5mm or less, we won't apply the reduction. Enjoy tanking everyone.

SoCal Bob donated this LeClerc TD tank to our club. It was delivered to us at the event yesterday. I will convert it into IR LegoDEI battle mode and attempt to sell it. The $ will be input into out Club's fund. Many thanks Bob!

Just finished working on my X-mas present. This T-72 ERA is ready for battle this Sunday. It has the 7.1 board inside with barrel recoil feature and multiple lights.

It is quite funny that the museum sent me an email on Friday asking me to run our program in their event. And here in their poster, they already included us in there, heheh!

It's only January and we're locked in as an attraction for Planes of Fame's annual Wings, Tracks, and Wheels 2026 weekend long event in Chino.
