SoCal RC Tank Club will be doing an exhibition at the Spirit of '45 event at the Lane Victory Maritime Center in San Pedro CA. Club members helping out in running the event get in free. General attendees can get early bird tickets and more information are found here: https://lanevictory.org/.../lane-victorys-80th.../... and here: https://www.eventbrite.com/.../spirit-of-45-la-tickets...
The Spirit of '45 is an event held at the Lane Victory, a WW2 era merchant ship that served in supporting operations through several conflicts that followed by moving men and materiel. This event features vintage music, vintage dress, and is a place for history buffs and reenactors come to gather to celebrate the ship's significance. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Lane Victory.
We at the SoCal RC Tank Club will be doing an exhibition for this event. If you are only attending as a patron, please purchase your tickets with the event holder. If you would like to come with our cadre of volunteers to help set up and run the event, we require you to RSVP in advance so we can get parking and admission fees waived for you. You will be required to come to the museum and help us setup from 12:00pm-1:00pm and you will help us from public gate open at 2pm to close for tear-down (~7:30PM) and cleanup. Our goal is to share our hobby and love of history with others and hopefully expose people to a new activity through our club.

As we continue to find ways for tanks from different companies to join our battle, we have an update for Torro/Taigen tanks 'owners. Tang Manisuta has made another discovery. He was able to hook up the light for the LegoDEI receiver. The Torro tanks will shake 1x when it is hit. After 5 hits, it will shake 3x and then will go into death mode. As before, enemy could not tell it it is knocked out. Now it blinks, so the enemy can go find another tank to shoot at. Great work, Tang! Members with Torro tanks will save $ since they don't have to discard the boards inside in order to battle in our club. To see the full video clip, you can go to our Face Book page under SoCal RC Tank Club.

I suggest you get rid of the hooben battle apple for continuity and effectiveness.

Very nice looking north afrika Tiger. I have always been an advocate of placing figures on tank models as it brings the model to life.
Ive also been a student / aficionado of North Afrika genre modeling, though i prefer the allied front. I love the SAS jeeps, the M3 Lees, the M4 and M4a2 shermans deployed there. The T12 anti tank half tracks, of which I started and almost finished one nearly 15 years ago now.
