One member starts printing stuff for our tanks. His first items are these 2 British tank crews, if anyone in the club wants them, pm me. As I mentioned before, first 2 figures or 3 accessories are free from the club. After that you need to donate $, heheh!

Time for each commander to get assigned a tank of his own. First one is for the M5.

The rain will start tonight in SoCal. I decided to work on a bunch of tank crews for my WWII US tanks and some GIs. They should be done by tomorrow night. Then they will be assigned to their tanks and their units.

Bought this "1/16 scale" dollhouse from Marketplace for $12. A couple hours later, heheh! Now it is ready to be placed into our tank battlefield.

What can I say, other than everyone's enthusiasm in our club gives me the drive to do more!

And now, it is time for me to announce our SoCal RC Tank Club member of the year 2025. He is Tang Manisuta. Tang has been super involved in several aspects of our club. He tackled all tasks and all obstacles that our club bumped into. He set up a safe forum for our teen members to chat among themselves about our hobby. All the flyers, announcements, shirts, and promotional materials were done by Tang. He also monitored our site and protected our club from outside intruders and harassers. He designed many little components to make the IR installation easier. At the regular events, he always helped out new members with issues from their tanks. This year, I was so thankful that he had figured a way to install the LegoDEI receiver to be compatible with the Torro tanks. There are a lot of other works he did that I would like to invite members to add in the comments below. We are sending a $100 gift certificate from MotionRC to Tang to appreciate his commitment to our club. Thank you, Tang!

We have just run our second event in the month of December. It's time to take a break and enjoy the holidays till 2026. For that, we can now announce our member of the month. It is Chris Dion for the month of December. Chris had only joined us 3 months ago. He really committed to the operation of our club and accepted to store 1/3 of our props at his place. He also hosted our December event at his front yard. Many thanks, Chris! Our club is poor, so we could only give Chris a long sleeve tank T-shirt to appreciate him. The picture below is Chris trying to accommodate us members at his front lawn last Saturday.

Since tomorrow event will be in the late afternoon and early evening, I will bring my M60 with its searchlight for night battling. Many thanks to Richard Johnson for making a cool searchlight kits for our M60 tanks.
