I saw the new LA Tanks Facebook group page. It's looking pretty good. Happy to see the club opening an interactive group vs just the information page LA Tank.

This is the site of our battlefield. Please bring your canopy if you have one. This is our first time doing as a picnic/battle event at this new location. There is a Round Table Pizza restaurant at the plaza next to the park. The club will provide pizzas and sodas for all attendees.

Our club is invited to run this RC hobby for teens at the Veteran's Day Celebration festival. We need volunteers to help us monitoring the players' list and the battles. Great way to celebrate Veteran's Day. Earlier today, our club got a chance to share this hobby to the community from Jurupa Valley in Southern California. We all felt wonderful to see people enjoying and playing with our tanks.

For the 11/17/24 event at Newport Beach, please check the map attached. We will battle at the area in the red circle. Parking will be at the blue circle (it is now with pavement). There is a fee for parking. After you park, you will need to walk across the bridge (yellow arrow) to get to the battlefield at the right. For members with many heavy items, there is an entrance for maintenance crew's vehicle at the pink arrow. You can park you car temporarily at that entrance and unload your items. Then drive out, make a U turn and park you vehicle at the blue circle too.
