Thanks for your feedback, Hugh! I appreciate it ... Introducing more expo to the rudder channel should help big time, just upgraded to a Futaba 8FG as well so have a world more option for dual rates and beyond ... this spin-out was on me, a little over-steer and it was hooking bad! I seem to have a hard time accepting that I always have the option of an abort! Hope to fly again this weekend and try another mounting position for the onboard camera!

VerticalAddiction , very nice video, the 4K camera was nice and clear. Looked like a perfect day with clear blue skies and a nice field. I liked the way you mixed in "on board" video with video from ground camera, well done. Regarding the 2nd take-off, we've all been there, some of us way more than once. The Avanti's nose gear is a little sensitive, especially on grass, with it's fairly large nose wheel. You may want to taxi in high rates, but take off in mid or low rates. Or just add a bit more expo in on the rudder/steering to keep from oversteering on take off.

Hey Gang, just wanted to share this video featuring my Avanti S EDF with onboard 4K camera flying over Ottawa Valley Jets here in Ontario, Canada. Love your live shows and will continue to stay tuned! Enjoy the action and thanks for your consideration of my submission for a mention / filler clips on your great live show!
Best Regards, Ryan (VerticalAddiction)

Hugh, Simply AMAZING work. Beautiful livery. Bravo Zulu, Sir. [QUOTE=Hugh Wiedman;n318510]Finally got the F-18 Tiger Meet out in the sun for some photos, much better than the indoor artificial light. The weather has still been crap, and this week's forecasts are no better, so haven't been able to maiden it, but hopefully soon, along with my repainted Mig.
Now that tiger in the jungle was well worth shooting !!

Damn Hugh! Two in a row! That might be one of the coolest Mig29s out there. I usually only like subdued military color schemes and most camouflage, but it's impossible not to really like your Mig!

You can tell our weather has not been conducive to flying in a while as all I've been doing the past 6 weeks is building/painting/modifying the F-18 and now almost finished with the Mig 29. Still need to program the Rx, hook up the TV nozzles and add the 20 amp BEC, but at least the lion's share of the work is done. Hope to maiden both maybe next week as all of this week still looks like manure. Upgrade details are in the Mig thread, however, in explaining the selected scheme, my wife suggested something in yellow/black for visibility and in keeping with my refurbished Firebird 400 and Ram truck. Then I was able to find a rare livery that actually existed, and I couldn't ignore my CO's orders! Only 2 were ever made, and both crashed in an airshow over London when the Russian pilots got disoriented in some clouds. They parachuted to safety, but seems they've never been heard from again!
Perfect!! Just what I needed, a failed livery that crashed, just my style. I did add some custom images I found that Callie reproduced so hopefully it will help shed the failed history, thus the Mig-29 "Cobra" was born. As usual, added 4 coats of exterior clear gloss spar urethane. Hopefully, this "viper" won't shed it's skin!

The 4 coats of clear gloss spar urethane really seem to affect the underlying paint shading with different sunlight intensities and clouds. Kinda cool though.

Just Awesome, Hugh!!!Originally posted by Hugh Wiedman View PostFinally finished my 2nd Hornet, this one in the Tiger Meet livery (more info in the F-18 thread). Turned out to be a very difficult task and Callie's graphics were not up to her usual excellence and ended up improvising and doing a lot of extra hand painting, so don't expect to recreate this with just graphics, especially all the black stripes. Installed the 12 blade inrunner and RC Geek burners as well. Took over a month, although I was also repainting the Mig at the same time to save on paint barn downtime (yes, my garage). Had different aircraft parts in different stages of completion all over the house for almost a month (my CO finally told me either the place gets cleaned up or I'm gone baby gone!). Half way through this project I had a feeling it was going to turn out like crap, but now that this one is finished, I'm actually quite happy with the final product. Same with the Mig, but that's a story for later after I finish the electronics/upgrades. This one should be very visible in the air!
Got both of them a couple days before the May 15th price increase and saved a bundle (at least that's what I told my wife, that I wasn't actually spending money, I was saving it-as if she hasn't used that logic on me before).
