Screws were tight. esc in proper place. I will go through the whole thing over the next few days and make sure she's ready for her maiden the weekend!

          • Ugh digi cam... hahaha good luck! A way to do it would be have Callie do up some vinyl, then slap that onto the parts, then finally lament over the vinyl to seal it.

                • Here she is...Finally! I get to partake in the party!

I have literally clamored for this model since I was flying the FMS "Flying Brick" version 10 years ago or so. Even bone stock before weathering she is just gorgeous. Taxi test complete. Just need to dial in CG, rates and throws and she's ready to maiden this week!

                          • F-4 owners, I was wondering how the dark paint scheme is holding up in the sun? Any gatoring? My A-10 finish has stayed awesome, but it is light grey.

                            • I would be cautious with it personally. In really hot situations especially. I think the darker green in the SEA camo is dark enough that it should be kept out of direct sunlight as much as possible.

                              • I've not had any gatoring issues yet, but mine always sits in the shade in the pits. The only time it sees sun is during flight.

                                • As for dark colors, the darker they are the more they're made to sit in the shade.
Gatoring just plain (plane) sucks, good idea to have a cover for them if there isn't any shade, the P-40 actually came with one, but a crib size mattress cover would be ideal, the elastic on the corners helps to keep it on.
