    Notes;

    Plenty of battery room for the 6+2 5200 I use. Haven't got it fully assembled yet, still working on wiring but balance should be okay too. I should know later this evening (all done and no issue balancing it at the box spot and there's room to move them back to where I think the CG will end up being).

    The airbrakes go on with one screw and there are also two mounting posts and it seems flimsy. But they work really well on the bench.

    Can't stuff wires behind the MCBe as that's open air to the fan intake. I am bypassing the MCBe except for gear and lights and have it rotated 90deg and the receiver next to it.

    Very easy to bypass as it' s one aileron wire per side, one stab per side and the rudder and steering. I also have an Assan steering gyro in mine.

    Great quality and no quality issues to note yet except the ball links, they are heavier duty grey ones and don't have a strong snap onto the metal balls. I tried attaching them both directions and the side that has two small molding dots seems a bit stronger but not much.

    Another note is the screws, they are all allen head and some are machine and some sheet metal/ wood screw type. The only place they show using the non-machine type is for the stab pivot shafts into the fuselage. The ends of these are pointy and it seems a flat end would be better so I flattened the end with a dremel. Also there ended up being a lot of spare non-machine ones (they were for the wing tip rails) and no spares of the machine ones. They really need to review what they call them or have a big picture of each and also a list where they show the parts telling you where each screw goes.

    They only mod I think this need (bypassing isn't really a mod to me) is the stab shafts should have flat spots on them where you tighten down the set screws in the wheel collar type fixing rings. All the planes that have these wheel collar type retainers should have this.

    Thank you to all who have ordered so far. I hope you love this plane as much as we do. It looks like they are going to arrive here in IL a day early! Assuming they show up tomorrow morning as scheduled, we will send out all pre-orders tomorrow (Friday).

    That was a pretty nice landing! Speed seemed manageable. Looking forward to more videos before I pull the trigger.

    I hope the V2, bird will be released in the Thunderbird scheme. I can’t get parts for my V1 any more. If the Thunderbird scheme is released in V2 I will buy one.
