Looks like a winner here with this new gen version. My fiance bought it for me but I am not allowed to open it until Christmas day.
OH THE HUMANITY!!!

My opinion..
A- Full span ailerons
B- Full span flaps
If the wing is only ailerons there is no A.
B- Flaperons
What do you call tailerons/ elevons? :)
What do you call crow/ butterfly?Leave a comment:

Q: Which of the following two statement is true?:
Flaps that also work as ailerons are known as: flaperons.
Ailerons that also work as flaps are known as: flaperons.
And what is the correct term for the other statement? Aileraps?Leave a comment:

Very nice flight so many trying to push me to 8’s rather stay 6 just for simplicity I have sooo many 6s packs all SMC with most being hivolt packs. Spent enough on packs to be honestLeave a comment:

Is yours the 6s or 8? Second flight looked much smoother great landingsLeave a comment:

Morning flight. Wing lights are less effective than the F9F due to being flush with the wing. I learned it the hard way with the flight just before this one, almost losing control for lack of sunlight.
By the way I reinstalled the original Skywalker 120a ESC and it gave no hiccups. Great ESC. I was doubtful since it only gave three beeps when battery plugged in but seeing other YouTube videos showing the jet giving 3 beeps and giving a thorough ground test I decided to give it a try and was not disappointed.

[QUOTE=urrl;n410563]Maiden flight using Avian 130a ESC did not go too well, thrust kept fluctuating. Not sure if I can program it out. Hopefully that new ESC from Motion will arrive soon.
Hello
Just to know, did you do ESC/throttle calibration conform manual???
ESC/Radio Calibration
1.
Begin with the transmitter powered on at full throttle.
2.
Connect a battery to the ESC. The motor will emit a series of three ascending tones.
3.
The motor will emit two short tones to indicate the high throttle position has been accepted.
4.
Move the throttle stick to the low position within five seconds after the two short tones.Leave a comment:

Nice landings and save. Still sounds like the ESC has still not detected the correct number of cells and it is going into low voltage pulsing too early. Assume you're still not getting the correct number of beeps on initialization. Did you ever try doing a simulated flight on the bench with a fully charged pack to see where the thrust fluctuation starts? Since I use only HiV packs, I had to do that with every aircraft before flying to ensure I wouldn't be facing an incorrect low voltage pulsing. Definitely gave me a little more confidence on any initial flight.Leave a comment:

Anyone getting 3 beeps instead of 6 when plugging in 6S battery?

Leave a comment:
