Assuming you’re running 6s? I can’t answer on the Eflite ESC but I have the blues in all of my 90’s without any issues at all. My 90 F16 is 8s currently running 2 4s 4400 Green SMC’s, just got in 2 hivolt 49/4200 packs. Think I’d would rather go 5000 myself mixed flying so far getting 3 min from the 4400’s maybe the hivolt packs will do better will update as I get to try em out. 12th flight on the F16 today finally have her dialed in, I’m 2 fingers behind factory CG marks which seems to be the sweet spot for me, I have had to turn down gains had some oscillation going on at higher speed flights. Running a AR10360t+ high speed gains asset 18/26 no more oscillation of course for alphas gains are raised. I am running tailerons saw no need in flaperons or thrust reverse in my grass field, one suggestion check you front retract trailing arm set screws mine were loose caused front gear to collapse fortunately no damage other than the front gear door which I made my own hinges as stock doors are out of stock still. One speed pass in level today she doesn’t do bad at all

Yes, that's weird... I always measure the GC with the chassis extended, do you?

At 130cm and the battery at the very back of the shaft, up to 2cm... no problem. 2 4S batteries are hardly any lighter at 5000mA/h.

Just took the plunge myself and actually ordered the 8’s version. Looking forward to setting up hopefully maiden this weekend, planning on doing the battery tray mod and see about stiffing the front gear spring as was suggested for grass ops. I went duel 4K 4400 4’s packs so I can save my 6s for my other jets. Either way will post on how things go she’s a beautiful plane, seems to be another FreeWing Motion hit keep it up guys

From what I understand from several owners you want the blue ESC red and black ones have had the only issues I’ve heard about

Du siehst, ich vertraue dir! ...und übernehme natürlich die Verantwortung selbst, das ist ja klar. Ich kenne mich mit F-16 Jets aus. Aber deine Eingaben sind auch für geübte Piloten sehr interessant. Hello Jon, your videos and explanations are very valuable to us pilots and bring courage and the joy of experimentation into the hobby. I agree exactly with you and am looking forward to the video E-Flite F-16 80mm 6S vs. Freewing F-16 90mmm V2 (8S)! I have set my Freewing 90mm V2 exactly with your AS3X+ values and will do the first flight that way. Of course with 3-stage switch: off-on-hold. You see, I trust you! ...and of course I take responsibility myself, that's clear. I know about F-16 jets. But your input is also very interesting for experienced pilots. Greetings from Switzerland.
