Morning flight with new KMRC afterburner. I'm setting the timer for 3 minutes from now on for the 3300 mAh batteries.

Weather was perfect: no wind, no mosquitoes and about 60 degrees. I wanted a very early pre-sunrise flight to get the full effect of the afterburner but forgot to attach strobe lights under wing.

Anything you need power for, most use it for an afterburner.

Ok. Done a ton of searching. Can't find the answer. On the MRC website it shows a main gear pin in spare parts, but in the description it does not list the F22 as compatible. I need a new pin. Can anyone confirm the part number for main gear strut pin? I'd appreciate it!

I suspect that since it is listed in the 70mm F-22 spare parts pages, that it's likely they omitted the F-22 reference. It's used in several different model retracts. If you go to RC Castle's webpage for the spare parts for this F-22, you will see the listing is for the F-22 pin and it looks identical to the picture in the MRC listing - same shape and same flats. If you have access to machining equipment, it's easy enough to make your own out of heavy duty wire stock or piano wire. Cut your own flats.

They use the same pin. Order it, and a spare.
