That hover feature is not working for me

Do you have a link? I retired in December, and can't think of a better way to spend a day. What city is it in? Should be a short drive from (Viva) Las Vegas...
I hate that motorcycle they make me ride. I'm here to tell you, there ain't nothing in the world I hate more than that elephant under my ass.

          • Someone asked me what the "umbrella" markings are on the side of the Allied Green "Bobcat II" nacelle. They aren't kill markings, but instead notated "Top Cover" for any allied aircraft. Other P-38s have been shown to use a marking depicting a "cane and top hat", which notated "Fighter Escort" for bombers. A "Broom" marking notated a CAP mission. There were other types of markings as well for a variety of targets and missions.

Bobcat II does have four aerial victories, notated by the four swastikas.

            • I'm looking forward to seeing what you bring out. The anticipation for the delivery of this plane is overwhelming. I've been reading up on the history, purpose, and tactics used by the pilots in both theaters. I'm looking forward to painting on the black and white VE strips. Something to help the plane stand out a bit more.

How is the zinc chromate in person? In some of the pics it looks a little too "green". Maybe it was just the lighting.

                              • I thought the paint on mine looked a little more accurate than what I saw in the MotionRC videos BUT ... that could just be the variations in the color rendering of everyone's video cameras.

                                  • This is my first post here. I've been a longtime member on RCG. I am really looking forward to this P-38. I am pre-ordering the Allied Green.

                                    • Welcome home, GhostStone!

Bajora, your model is straight off the assembly line, which incorporates my last minute changes, one of which is a more sedated zinc chromate green. Mine was too blueish, while yours is more accurate and will be what everyone is receiving.

                                      • Looks great! I couldn't resist and preordered an Allied Green. Also threw in some FMS P-51 wheels to mess around with bigger tires on the mains.

Cool, so my eye was accurate (for once) and there is a slight difference between what I saw in the MRC videos and the one I am reviewing for MA.
