Yes, loads of parts for both the B-25 and Mig-29 Red Star are in this container. There are some parts for other Freewing/FlightLine planes in the container as well. Most of the parts in this shipment are B-25 and Mig-29 Red Star though. My hair is turning gray by the day waiting for this container (from both the stress and the wait, lol).

I assume the parts are in that container too. I’m wearing out wheels doing touch and go’s.

Quick update on the B-25 shipment. The container is still waiting for the customs inspection. It is now 20th in line. At this point, I'm thinking we are going to be receiving this in the beginning of Sept vs end of August. This container left Freewing 6/20 and this is the most frustrating wait ever. I know all of you are frustrated waiting for this container. We're equally as frustrated this is taking so long. Of course nobody stores a container for free so we are likely accumulating a $200-300 per day storage fee while waiting for the first inspection and now waiting for the second inspection. As soon as the inspection is over, I'll let you know. We'll ship these out as soon as we receive them.

Well, the end of August is drawing near and I am hoping that a shipping notification from MRC appears in my inbox soon.
I'm not putting any faith in the efficiency of the government agencies and their ability to get things done in a reasonable amount of time. I don't believe they have any incentive to do so.
Anyway, my receiver and sat are on the bench, ready to go. I even have some extra graphics from Callie waiting.
Maybe tomorrow........
Cheers 🥂

Ridgerunner, I have owned a DVD copy of this film for a long time along with The Flying Tigers with John Wayne.

ridgerunner, DITTOS!
Dad was a "Fortress" Pilot Bombardier (19 missions thru April '45) with the 306th Reich Wreckers, 8th Air Force in Europe.
Even as a kid, he encouraged me to watch this film over again, though his favorite WWII film was "D-Day: The 6th of June".
Peck got an Oscar Nomination for his role as Gen. Savage, btw, great name for the character, I always thought.
Good film footage in this one, too.
Best, LB

Somewhat off topic but...
A great WWII bomber movie is now "free to watch with ads" on YouTube:
My Dad was a B-24 pilot in the Army Air Corps and was about to be deployed for the first time when they dropped the big one and ended the war. (Lucky for him and me!) Before watching this movie, I never would have guessed the level of mental stress these "Boys" were subjected to. Highly Recommended!

Well I started looking at it and changed my mind and went with Executive Sweet. The decals were super easy to do, you just have to take your time.3 Photos

Besides, I like the graphics. I put Here Kitty, Kitty on my Tigercat.

Peajay. I agree. I love the variety of liveries that Callie Graphics offers. I am going to order the Apache Princess. She was piloted by a guy named Ohnemus. Interestingly I worked with a young man whose last name was Ohnemus. Unfortunately he died at the age of 25 so there isn't any way to see if there was any relation to pilot. But is a good enough reason to buy the livery.

I'm sure the durability is probably awesome with the original sets but I wanted a different graphic. I love all the different options from callie graphics. I liked all three sets that the plane came with but Mitch the with was my fave. I normally put a light coat of protectant over my planes also.Originally posted by Oxotnik View Post
I've never put waterslide decals on a foamy aircraft, until now. I liked how easily they went on and could be repositioned. I don't know how well they'll hold up from the wear and tear. I'm going to coat the plane with WBPA, in hopes that it'll help to keep the decals from rubbing and fraying. I went with Mitch the Witch, BTW.

I found them easy to use. Warm water, slide them on, pat with a paper towel and go over them with decal setting solution which melted them down really nice. After drying I did a light spray of matte clear over them and the pre applied Star and bar as they were glossy compare to the olive drab.

No, the plane came with three sets of water slide decals and I have never used water decals but they look cool. I ordered a different set from callie graphics.

Callie is doing water slide decals?Originally posted by Peajay5 View PostI received mine yesterday. I put everything together and I used a specktrum AR8020T as my receiver. I had to adjust the bomb doors to make them sit flush. Everything went together well. I ordered the B-25 '8Z' Graphics Set from callie graphics. I have never used water slide decals but they look cool. I have adjusted all the flight surfaces. I will probably do a maiden on friday because it has been windy here in Vegas.
