V2 arf release 2026 ??????? i really doubt they would not just change the scheme and keep making money since it is very popular , Robert s Johnson would be a easy arf production scheme ,

Hi James: Is this pretty reliable info that they might be coming out with a V2 version of the P-47? There are a lot of great liveries to paint a new version up in, for instance, Little Chief flown by Lt. Frank Klibbe would be a great one if they do that. You have a little picture of it in your name tag info on your inputs. If I ever did get another razorback P-47, that might be one I would use. Or, just leave all the markings off and let the buyer have a "clean slate" to put whatever scheme they choose on the plane.

Hello All: I've been a member of HobbySquawk, I think since about 2013. A couple years ago, my account disappeared somehow and I had to have the techs at HobbySquawk help me. For years it was just "Davegee" but they couldn't get that to work. So now, I had to go by Davegeee with the extra "e" on the end to access the site.
Recently I tested it and it looks like my old "Davegee" that I used for many years still works. So, I prefer if you contact me if you could use the original Davegee with the two "e's on the end instead of Davegeee, that would be great. Looks like both will work for me now and I'll answer to either one.

I was getting so frustrated trying to get back on. Mike J at MRC was trying his best. Today, he tried again to get me to log in using a different password he'd set up for me. I'd been trying this for almost a week since the hack, but nothing. Today, I just hit the log in with my old Password and it worked! Once in, I changed my password and hopefully everything should be good.

Coming along well, Craig! Looks like the correct shade of RAF Dark Green that the 78th FG used at that period of the war out of Duxford. Are you going to use RAF SKY color for the bottom of the aircraft??

Yes Dave once wings are at the same point as the fuse all will have a final rub down. An even green coat overall then grey on the bottom invasion stripes. Matt clear. I received my e-flite payload release today. If you could take some pictures of your installation, I will have a better idea how to install. how did you make clearance for the manual release or do you just use the radio to open/close.

Hi Rex: It was pretty much straightforward process. I mounted the bomb drop in the area where the OEM drop tank holder was in place. Just carefully remove it and throw it away or whatever. Then, I carefully inserted an awl or some sharp instrument straight down (airplane upside down in cradle) until it pokes through the foam floor of the cockpit. Now you have a general area to where you want to dig into the model's fuselage and snake the wire into the cockpit and attach it to the receiver. On mine, I used channel 7 and assigned the pushbutton "I" also the bind button on the DX18. Carefully cut a rectangle through the foam that is just big enough to snugly fit the bomb drop mechanism. I don't remember how I fastened it in, I think it comes with a couple of wood screws, and maybe I glued a couple of wood pieces to screw into, whatever you want to do with that.
There is a manual release/loading switch on the side of the mount. ( You can alternatively try pushing the drop switch and that will cycle the pin back and forth if you can get in there quick enough to put your bomb mount in. That's hard to do and I usually don't try it, just do it manually.)You can see I had to dig out a little more foam to be sure I could move that lever to open the alley to put your drop tank in. That is usually best using some sort of tool like a pen, or some long skinny piece of steel like a hex wrench to hold the spring loaded pin in the open position. While holding that open, you can carefully put your tank that you glued or screwed the holding mechanism for the tank and then you can release the slide switch and the pin should engage through the hole n your mount that is attached to your tank and keep it in place. Sometimes you have to fiddle with it a bit to get it to engage. Once that is done, you are ready to fly and your assigned switch whatever you chose, can be activated to release the tank and it will spin to the ground, probably undamaged since it is so light.
I'll attach a few pics I just took for orientation. They are of my P-47 Hairless Joe. I have dropped a lot of tanks with it and it is always flawless. We also made a larger 150 gallon flat tank and it flies great with it and drops just as well, withou damage, although it is much heavier than the foam tanks..
