I will compare to my classy hobby 1/16 kit that I RC’d.

I will say this, that picture shows the tank sitting way too high on its bogies, the bottom of the hull is nearly at the top of the wheels. It looks very obtuse. Scroll back a page and look at my model i posted. The Coolbank m5 is sitting wrong.

Very interesting. The website states estimated availability before May 12, free delivery sometime in June. It's actually an extensive webpage with many details. Worth a try, maybe. Anybody have good/bad experiences with Banggood?

Screen captures: Any math whizzes out there to calculate if this is near 1/16 scale?

No Chaffee for all this time and now you can 3D print one and maybe order an RTR. I guess our hobby is growing.

Speaking of rumors (this is the correct thread for this) Tongde is reportedly developing an M24 Chaffee light tank.

It's a small tank, 16'9" versus a Panzer III at 18'3". That would pose some challenges to fit everything in. Hopefully they won't make it over scale like the Bradley. Anyway, I wasn't really enthused about it as a subject, "ho hum, olive green". But a little browsing yielded this!

When I eventually build my Andy's Hobby Sherman I'll need an RC HVSS suspension for it.

If I ever get a Sherman this is the first thing I’m getting for it.

Yeah I spoke with Carson from DKLM he attended the show and said that Heng long has no plans to produce an E8 for the foreseeable future.

Were there any presence of the Tongde RTR tanks? Does Cool Bank Model introduce a new manufacturer partner?

Hobby Expo China 2024 in Beijing is going on April 19-21. I found the Heng Long and Coolbank Wang booths but didn't see any new products. Here is the front page of the show:

Be aware it's not https, so make sure your protection software is working. I didn't have any problems though. There are a lot of exhibitors listed, so if you're adventurous, do some browsing.

They even have a kit for those rockets in 1/16th scale already as they were made to go on the Das Werks and Trumpeter static kits.

Heng Long did a very good job on the WW2 Sherman with such a small chassis in 1/16 scale. I am very interested in knowing what they can do to make the suspension of the RC Easy8 better.

I was able to upgrade the gearbox to the all ball bearing Heng Xin and a pair of Tamiya 380. It runs very well with the very heavy Mato T-74 metal track with duckbill, but the suspension is untouched.

I will get the Easy8 for sure if it gets an improved suspension.

Agreed. Now I'd be interested in a Shermy.

Oh. Yeah, I thought it was labeled. The good thing is that domestic retailers carry Torro stuff.
